“產(chǎn)出導(dǎo)向法”(POA)的提出旨在克服我國高校外語教學(xué)“學(xué)用分離”的弊端,提高教學(xué)效率。目前有關(guān)POA的研究多聚焦于寫作而非口語,并關(guān)注其教學(xué)模式的探究。盡管有不少研究發(fā)現(xiàn)POA教學(xué)可以激發(fā)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)熱情,改變英語學(xué)習(xí)態(tài)度,但從學(xué)習(xí)動機角度探究POA教學(xué)效果的研究非常有限。因此,本研究旨在解決以下問題:1.POA能否激發(fā)大學(xué)生的口語學(xué)習(xí)動機?若能,體現(xiàn)在哪些方面?2.POA對學(xué)生口語水平的影響體現(xiàn)在哪些方面?3.POA教學(xué)下,學(xué)生口語水平與其學(xué)習(xí)動機之間是否具有相關(guān)性?本研究歷時10周,研究對象來自于兩個平行班的62名大二學(xué)生。實驗班使用POA教學(xué)法,控制班使傳統(tǒng)教學(xué)法。研究數(shù)據(jù)通過動機調(diào)查問卷和口語測試收集,并采用SPSS 21.0進(jìn)行分析。研究表明,POA能有效地激發(fā)學(xué)生口語學(xué)習(xí)的動機,尤其工具型動機和情境動機。此外,POA對口語水平的影響主要體現(xiàn)在口語流利性上。相關(guān)性分析進(jìn)一步說明了學(xué)生口語水平的提高與其口語學(xué)習(xí)動機密切相關(guān)。最后,本文深入思考了實驗過程中的問題與困難,以期為以后的相關(guān)研究提供建議和經(jīng)驗借鑒。
