眾所周知,會話教學在初中英語教學中起著重要作用,會話能力的培養(yǎng)也是初中階段英語教學主要目標之一。因此,構建以學生為主體的有效的英語會話課堂教學活動己經成為英語會話教學的有效手段。本研究選取西安市某初級中學七年級、八年級的200名學生和4名英語老師為調查對象,通過問卷調查、課堂觀察兩種研究方法,旨在調查初中英語會話課課堂活動實施的基本情況。首先,本文選取西安某初中七年級、八年級的各兩個班級作為課堂觀察對象,通過課堂觀察,探討初中英語會話課堂活動的常用形式和類型。其次,通過問卷調查,了解初中生在初中英語會話教學課堂活動中的參與情況,主要涉及初中生在行為參與、認知參與以及情感參與中的具體表現。調查結果發(fā)現,在初中英語會話教學中,教師經常采用豐富的課堂活動類型。在會話前,教師經常使用視聽材料以及大腦風暴的討論活動來激發(fā)學生興趣。在會話中,教師則通過用大量的輸出性活動來引導學生理解會話內容。在會話后,常用的活動包括角色扮演和相關話題的討論。除此之外,初中生參與會話課堂教學活動的程度總體較高。但是相比較于行為參與與情感參與,學生的認知參與較低,且在認知參與中學生習慣于依賴老師和同伴。最后,筆者根據上述研究結果對初中英語會話教學提出一些建議。例如,教師應堅持設計多樣的會話課堂活動,學生應注重會話課堂活動參與中的認知參與并培養(yǎng)獨立學習的能力。
