本翻譯原文選自于Get money:live the life you want,not just the life you can afford(《理財之訣:過你想要的生活,而不是拮據(jù)的生活》)一書中的第一章至第三章。該書的作者是華裔美國人克莉絲汀·王,她常年從事經(jīng)濟(jì)類文章以及書籍的寫作,并在這方面頗有建樹。該書共有十三個章節(jié),基于個人現(xiàn)有的經(jīng)濟(jì)基礎(chǔ)之上,介紹了一些簡單實用并與生活息息相關(guān)的理財方式。近些年來,隨著人們經(jīng)濟(jì)生活水平的不斷提高,理財成為了一個炙手可熱的話題,但是人們對于理財?shù)闹R知之甚少。該書的翻譯對于我國廣大讀者,尤其是對那些急需理財?shù)钠胀ò傩諄碚f具有一定的指導(dǎo)意義。譯者在多次閱讀原文的基礎(chǔ)上仔細(xì)分析了原文的語言風(fēng)格和文體特征。此書不僅涉及到了大量的專業(yè)知識,包括經(jīng)濟(jì)類、理財類、稅收類等等,還因其特殊的文體特征和語言風(fēng)格,原文使用了許多口語化的詞匯短語及俚語。因此,這些問題的解決是本翻譯任務(wù)的重中之重,同時也決定著整個翻譯作品質(zhì)量的好壞。該翻譯項目旨在結(jié)合相關(guān)的翻譯理論與技巧,并通過具體的案例分析來解決這些問題。通過研究與實踐,譯者發(fā)現(xiàn),結(jié)合上下文翻譯,反譯法,增譯法等方法對于這類文本的翻譯非常有效。除此之外,在整個翻譯過程中,譯者在終于原文的基礎(chǔ)上還使用了改譯法,語態(tài)轉(zhuǎn)換法等翻譯方法,均取得了不錯的效果。通過此次翻譯,可以得出:1)對于經(jīng)濟(jì)類文本的翻譯一定要確保準(zhǔn)確性,同時也要兼顧到原文本的語言風(fēng)格和文體特征;2)對于俚語以及口語化詞語翻譯時,結(jié)合上下文翻譯是很好的解決辦法;3)經(jīng)濟(jì)類文本所涉及到的方面非常廣泛,充分的譯前準(zhǔn)備必不可少。同時,譯者也希望本翻譯報告對于以后同類型文本的翻譯具有一定的參考價值和指導(dǎo)意義。
