【摘要】：正裝飾藝術(shù)[decorative arts]中最有名的概念之一"acanthus",到目前為止主要有這樣一些漢譯:莨苕葉飾、爵床葉飾、(老鼠|)葉形裝飾、葉薊文樣、毛茛葉飾、茛個葉飾;但是諸多的譯語實際上指的是同一種裝飾母題。因此要確立一種沒有歧義的漢語譯詞,就應(yīng)該追溯它的詞源,并據(jù)此對其做標準化處理而無需去追求譯語的首創(chuàng)之功。我們可以從差不多一百年來流行的幾本英漢詞典對"acanthus"的釋義來考察幾個譯語的來源。如我國首開"舉例法"
