英漢雙向視譯眼動(dòng)回視研究

【摘要】:翻譯的方向性已經(jīng)在語言、認(rèn)知科學(xué)和文化研究等方面取得諸多成果,但視譯中的一個(gè)重要環(huán)節(jié)是閱讀,譯語是否流暢與閱讀效率高度相關(guān)。本論文擬對(duì)英漢、漢英雙向視譯中眼動(dòng)回視現(xiàn)象進(jìn)行實(shí)證研究。通過分析雙向視譯譯前準(zhǔn)備閱讀和視譯中閱讀的眼動(dòng)指標(biāo),驗(yàn)證以下三個(gè)假設(shè):1)在譯前準(zhǔn)備中的閱讀與普通雙語閱讀并無二致。2)在視譯中的閱讀回視因?yàn)榫浞ú町惗黾踊蜓娱L,并呈現(xiàn)方向性差異。3)視譯時(shí)的回視行為與視譯表現(xiàn)有關(guān)聯(lián),相比低水平學(xué)生譯員,高水平學(xué)生譯員在產(chǎn)生回視時(shí)能更加合理地運(yùn)用視譯策略和技巧。本文研究對(duì)象為19名上海外國語大學(xué)口譯學(xué)或翻譯碩士在讀研究生。我們利用眼動(dòng)儀對(duì)研究對(duì)象的視譯表現(xiàn)全程記錄并忠實(shí)錄音轉(zhuǎn)寫,隨后借助ANOVA軟件對(duì)視譯樣本產(chǎn)生的眼動(dòng)數(shù)據(jù)進(jìn)行方差分析。研究表明雙向視譯譯前準(zhǔn)備中的閱讀與普通雙語閱讀近似,視譯中的閱讀相比之下需要更多的認(rèn)知精力。受“邊讀邊譯”的視譯工作機(jī)制影響,回視及其他眼動(dòng)指標(biāo)在方向性上并無顯著差異,但回視與視譯表現(xiàn)有直接關(guān)聯(lián),譯員回視行為與視譯表現(xiàn)的關(guān)聯(lián)凸顯了提高閱讀效率和加強(qiáng)順句驅(qū)動(dòng)等技巧的重要性,對(duì)提高口譯教學(xué)績效有一定借鑒意義。
[Abstract]:The orientation of translation has made many achievements in the aspects of language, cognitive science and culture, but one of the important links in the translation is to read, whether the translation is fluent and the reading efficiency is highly relevant. An empirical study of eye movement in Chinese and English two-way visual translation is proposed in this paper. the following three hypotheses are verified by analyzing the eye movement index of reading and reading in the two-way translation, and the following three hypotheses are verified:1) the reading in the preparation before the translation is not related to the ordinary bilingual reading; and 2) the reading back in the translation is increased or extended due to the syntactic difference, In contrast to that low level student's interpreter, the high-level student's translator can use the translation strategy and technique more reasonably in the event of a return. In this paper, the subject is a post-graduate student in the interpretation or translation of 19 Shanghai Foreign Language University. We use the oculomotor to record and faithfully record the apparent translation of the study subject, and then make an analysis of variance with the eye movement data generated by the translation sample by means of the ANOVA software. The study shows that the reading in the preparation of the two-way translation is similar to that of the ordinary bilingual reading, and the reading in the translation requires more cognitive energy. There is no significant difference in the orientation of the visual and visual interpretation of the "side-to-side translation", but the relationship between the return and the apparent translation shows the importance of improving the reading efficiency and enhancing the driving of the sentence. It is of great significance to improve the performance of interpretation teaching.
