【摘要】：林戊蓀的《論語(yǔ)新譯》是國(guó)內(nèi)最具影響力的《論語(yǔ)》英譯本之一,對(duì)譯本翻譯策略、優(yōu)缺點(diǎn)等進(jìn)行探討,有利于推動(dòng)中國(guó)典籍外譯進(jìn)程。本文從系統(tǒng)功能語(yǔ)言學(xué)語(yǔ)境理論出發(fā),對(duì)該譯本的語(yǔ)境重構(gòu)進(jìn)行研究。發(fā)現(xiàn)譯者通過(guò)注釋等副文本手段對(duì)原文的文化語(yǔ)境進(jìn)行還原和重構(gòu),譯文具備學(xué)術(shù)性特點(diǎn),基本實(shí)現(xiàn)了對(duì)原文內(nèi)容的忠實(shí)傳譯;通過(guò)詞匯語(yǔ)法層的調(diào)整,對(duì)原文情景語(yǔ)境進(jìn)行重構(gòu),使譯文具有學(xué)術(shù)性、通俗性、時(shí)代性的特點(diǎn);最后通過(guò)主位結(jié)構(gòu)等因素的調(diào)整進(jìn)行上下文語(yǔ)境重構(gòu),再現(xiàn)原文的行文特點(diǎn)、修辭特色,保持原文的文學(xué)價(jià)值。對(duì)《論語(yǔ)》英譯和其他典籍英譯有重要的借鑒意義。
[Abstract]:New Translation of the Analects of Confucius by Lin Wusun is one of the most influential English versions of Analects of Confucius in China. Based on the context theory of systemic functional linguistics, this paper studies the contextual reconstruction of the translation. It is found that the translator restores and reconstructs the cultural context of the original text by means of annotation and so on. The translation has academic characteristics and basically realizes faithful interpretation of the original text. Through the adjustment of lexical and grammatical level, this paper reconstructs the situational context of the original text so as to make the translation have the characteristics of academic, popular and epochal; Finally, by adjusting the theme structure and other factors, we reconstruct the context, reproduce the characteristics of the original text and rhetoric, and maintain the literary value of the original text. It has important reference significance for the English translation of Analects of Confucius and other classical books.
