【摘要】：本篇翻譯項目報告以語言學(xué)著作《書面語與心理發(fā)展》(Written Language and Psychological Development)的第一章"語言及其表現(xiàn)形式"(On Language and Its Manifestations)為翻譯對象,翻譯內(nèi)容主要討論語言的定義,以及語言的物質(zhì)和形式兩種表現(xiàn)形式。該著作是一篇典型的學(xué)術(shù)型著作,具有學(xué)術(shù)性強(qiáng),專業(yè)術(shù)語多,句型結(jié)構(gòu)復(fù)雜,多長句、復(fù)合句、定語從句、插入語等特點。要求譯者具備一定的語言學(xué)知識儲備,具備較好的語法知識和邏輯思維能力。結(jié)合原文的語言特點,譯者選擇卡塔琳娜·賴斯的文本類型論作為本次翻譯理論指導(dǎo),遵循信息型文本翻譯所要求的"直白無冗余,明晰化"原則來解決原文中的重點與難點。結(jié)合本翻譯具體實例,靈活運用拆分法、轉(zhuǎn)換法、增譯法等翻譯策略。除了遵循翻譯理論外,還需要在具體實踐中采用更加靈活的翻譯方法來解決問題。本篇翻譯實踐報告論證了文本類型理論在翻譯學(xué)習(xí)與實踐中的重要性與實用性,希望本文可以為信息型文本的翻譯研究提供一定的借鑒。同時,譯者期待通過此次翻譯實踐能夠進(jìn)一步提高自身的翻譯水平,向著成為一名合格譯員的目標(biāo)不斷邁進(jìn)。
[Abstract]:The first chapter of (Written Language and Psychological Development), "language and its manifestations" (On Language and Its Manifestations), is taken as the subject of this translation project report. The translation content mainly discusses the definition of language. As well as the language material and the form two forms of expression. This work is a typical academic work, with the characteristics of strong academic, many technical terms, complex sentence structure, long sentence, compound sentence, attributive clause, insert sentence and so on. Translators are required to possess certain linguistic knowledge, good grammatical knowledge and logical thinking ability. According to the linguistic characteristics of the source text, the translator chooses Katarina Rice's text typology as the guidance of this translation theory, following the principle of "no redundancy and clarity" required by the translation of informative text to solve the key and difficult points in the original text. According to the specific examples of translation, flexible use of split method, conversion method, additional translation and other translation strategies. In addition to following the translation theory, it is also necessary to adopt more flexible translation methods to solve the problem in practice. This translation practice report demonstrates the importance and practicability of text type theory in translation learning and practice, and hopes that this paper can provide some reference for the study of informative text translation. At the same time, the translator hopes that through this translation practice, he can further improve his translation ability and make continuous progress towards the goal of becoming a qualified interpreter.
