高校公共英語課堂教學(xué)有效性提升研究

【摘要】:在我國新一輪高等教育綜合改革浪潮的推動下,高校不斷創(chuàng)新發(fā)展思維,轉(zhuǎn)變發(fā)展模式,以推動高等教育又好又快發(fā)展。高等教育發(fā)展具有多重性,從本質(zhì)屬性來說是社會需要培養(yǎng)人的過程,是發(fā)展,是生長,是社會個體化的過程。從社會屬性來說教育具有永恒性、歷史性、相對獨立性這三個方面。高等教育是知識技術(shù)的傳遞與傳承,是知識創(chuàng)造、技能創(chuàng)新的重要途徑,而其中課堂教學(xué)在知識傳承中扮演著非常重要的角色。我國高校發(fā)展起步晚,但發(fā)展速度快,基本上滿足了社會經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展的需求。但是,隨著社會分工日益細(xì)化,社會經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展對人才的需求越來越多樣化,而高等教育人才培養(yǎng)改革卻相對滯后,尤其是近年來課堂教學(xué)備受爭議,課堂教學(xué)對學(xué)生的吸引力、影響力日益降低,使高校人才培養(yǎng)質(zhì)量受到了嚴(yán)重影響,引發(fā)了學(xué)界和社會各界廣泛的關(guān)注。雖然在公共英語教學(xué)領(lǐng)域改革如火如茶,但是學(xué)生的英語水平和能力依然難以滿足就業(yè)和升學(xué)的需求。本文將圍繞課堂教學(xué)有效性問題,來探索我國高校公共英語課堂教學(xué)質(zhì)量提升的機(jī)理和途徑。本文從高校公共英語課堂教學(xué)的現(xiàn)狀及影響因素入手,運用文獻(xiàn)分析法、問卷調(diào)查法、訪談法等,系統(tǒng)分析當(dāng)前高校公共英語課堂教學(xué)的現(xiàn)狀,認(rèn)為存在的主要問題有:高校公共英語教材缺乏針對性和多樣性;學(xué)生基礎(chǔ)英語水平參差不齊以及學(xué)習(xí)興趣也普遍不高;英語教師的教學(xué)任務(wù)相對偏多等。在此基礎(chǔ)上,本文結(jié)合國外“有意義學(xué)習(xí)理論”、“最優(yōu)化教學(xué)理論”和“多元智能理論”,深入探析了影響高校公共英語課堂教學(xué)有效性的因素主要有:教師綜合能力、學(xué)生個人能力、教師和學(xué)生之間的互動等。進(jìn)而提出提高教師綜合能力、對學(xué)生實行因材施教、增加教師和學(xué)生之間的互動等方面來改進(jìn)高校公共英語課堂教學(xué)的策略。
[Abstract]:Under the impetus of the new round of comprehensive reform of higher education in China, colleges and universities are constantly innovating and developing their thinking and changing their development mode in order to promote the good and rapid development of higher education. The development of higher education has many characteristics, which is the process of social need to cultivate human beings, the process of development, the growth of society and the individualization of society. From the social attribute, education has three aspects: permanent, historical and relative independence. Higher education is the transmission and inheritance of knowledge and technology, is an important way of knowledge creation and skill innovation, and classroom teaching plays a very important role in knowledge transmission. The development of colleges and universities in our country starts late, but the speed of development is fast, which basically meets the needs of social and economic development. However, with the increasing refinement of social division of labor, the demand for talents is becoming more and more diversified in the development of social economy, while the reform of talent training in higher education is relatively lagging behind, especially in recent years, classroom teaching is controversial, classroom teaching is attractive to students. With the decreasing influence, the quality of talent training in colleges and universities is seriously affected, which has aroused widespread concern in academic circles and social circles. Although the reform in the field of public English teaching is as hot as tea, the students' English proficiency and ability are still difficult to meet the needs of employment and higher education. This paper focuses on the effectiveness of classroom teaching to explore the mechanism and ways of improving the quality of public English teaching in colleges and universities in China. Starting with the present situation and influencing factors of public English classroom teaching in colleges and universities, this paper makes a systematic analysis of the present situation of public English classroom teaching in colleges and universities by means of literature analysis, questionnaire investigation, interview and so on. The main problems are: lack of pertinence and diversity in college English teaching materials; The students' basic English level is uneven and their interest in learning is not high, and the teaching tasks of English teachers are relatively many. On the basis of this, combining with "meaningful learning theory", "optimization teaching theory" and "multiple intelligences theory" abroad, this paper deeply analyzes the factors that affect the effectiveness of public English classroom teaching in colleges and universities: the comprehensive ability of teachers. Students' personal abilities, interaction between teachers and students, etc. Furthermore, the author puts forward some strategies to improve the teaching of public English in colleges and universities from the aspects of improving the comprehensive ability of teachers, teaching students according to their aptitude and increasing the interaction between teachers and students.
