【摘要】：《政府工作報(bào)告》是一種典型的漢語(yǔ)政治文獻(xiàn),它對(duì)中國(guó)的政治、經(jīng)濟(jì)、文化、外交都起著至關(guān)重要的作用。與此同時(shí),這類(lèi)文本的翻譯成為了外國(guó)讀者了解中國(guó)的重要媒介,促進(jìn)了不同國(guó)家的相互了解和不同文化的相互碰撞。往往,外國(guó)媒體會(huì)對(duì)比各國(guó)經(jīng)濟(jì)社會(huì)的發(fā)展現(xiàn)狀,對(duì)中國(guó)的經(jīng)濟(jì)社會(huì)發(fā)展?fàn)顩r給出相應(yīng)的評(píng)價(jià)或者意見(jiàn),因而政府工作報(bào)告的翻譯也就顯得尤為重要了。許多中國(guó)翻譯工作者畢生致力于《政府工作報(bào)告》的英譯。但相比其他類(lèi)型文本的翻譯,此類(lèi)文本的翻譯仍然存在著許多難題。《政府工作報(bào)告》的翻譯研究一直著重強(qiáng)調(diào)原文和譯文之間的對(duì)比,并未考慮目的語(yǔ)接受者的感受。尤金·奈達(dá)的功能對(duì)等理論自產(chǎn)生以來(lái),對(duì)國(guó)內(nèi)外的翻譯工作者產(chǎn)生了深遠(yuǎn)的影響。它摒棄了過(guò)去“文本中心論”的主張,提出翻譯的重點(diǎn)在于文本和讀者之間的關(guān)系,以此建立了以目的語(yǔ)讀者反應(yīng)為中心的翻譯理論。此外,他認(rèn)為翻譯的重點(diǎn)在于原文的內(nèi)容,而非原文的形式,強(qiáng)調(diào)語(yǔ)言的功能。本文作者認(rèn)為可以從功能對(duì)等這一角度來(lái)分析《政府工作報(bào)告》的英譯,并結(jié)合該理論進(jìn)一步判斷譯文的質(zhì)量。本文第一章將從政府工作報(bào)告的研究背景、研究的意義等方面做一個(gè)整體介紹。本文第二章從譯前、譯中和譯后三個(gè)方面講述了此次政府工作報(bào)告的整個(gè)翻譯過(guò)程。在譯前需要了解政府工作報(bào)告的內(nèi)容、特點(diǎn)及翻譯所需的條件;在翻譯過(guò)程中需要把握翻譯的原則和策略;在翻譯完成之后需要對(duì)譯文進(jìn)行審校。本文第三章簡(jiǎn)要介紹了奈達(dá)的功能對(duì)等理論的主要內(nèi)容及其應(yīng)用。第四章,作者節(jié)選《2015年政府工作報(bào)告》的部分章節(jié)及其英譯本進(jìn)行文本分析,研究譯文如何在詞匯層面,句法層面和篇章層面實(shí)現(xiàn)功能對(duì)等。眾所周知,漢語(yǔ)和英語(yǔ)存在巨大的差異,譯文和原文的完全對(duì)等很難實(shí)現(xiàn),所以譯者在翻譯的過(guò)程中需選擇合適的詞匯,保證詞匯層面的功能對(duì)等;漢語(yǔ)《政府工作報(bào)告》文體正式、遣詞造句頗為嚴(yán)謹(jǐn),為準(zhǔn)確表達(dá)原文意思,譯者無(wú)論在詞匯、句法、篇章層面都應(yīng)選用正式的表達(dá)方式,盡可能實(shí)現(xiàn)功能對(duì)等;中西方在政治制度、經(jīng)濟(jì)制度、科技發(fā)展等各個(gè)方面給翻譯帶來(lái)許多困難,因此譯者在翻譯政治、經(jīng)濟(jì)、文化、科技等方面的內(nèi)容時(shí),應(yīng)盡量選擇目的語(yǔ)接受者易于接受的表達(dá),使整個(gè)篇章與原文實(shí)現(xiàn)功能對(duì)等。作者通過(guò)對(duì)比原文和譯發(fā)現(xiàn)英譯本在詞匯、句法、篇章方面均實(shí)現(xiàn)了功能對(duì)等;譯者采用直譯、意譯等翻譯策略實(shí)現(xiàn)了英譯本和原文的功能對(duì)等。作者在第五章講述了的當(dāng)前研究的一些發(fā)現(xiàn)、不足和建議。本文從功能對(duì)等理論視角研究《2015年政府工作報(bào)告》的英譯,進(jìn)而探索翻譯理論指導(dǎo)下的翻譯實(shí)踐,拓展功能對(duì)等理論在翻譯實(shí)踐中的應(yīng)用,總結(jié)政府工作報(bào)告的翻譯策略,為此類(lèi)文本的英譯提供一些參考。
[Abstract]:Government work report is a typical Chinese political document, which plays an important role in Chinese politics, economy, culture and diplomacy. At the same time, the translation of such texts has become an important medium for foreign readers to understand China and promote mutual understanding between different countries and the collision of different cultures. Often, the foreign media will compare the economic and social development of various countries, give the corresponding evaluation or opinion on the economic and social development of China, so the translation of the government work report is particularly important. Many Chinese translators devote their lives to translating the Government work report into English. However, compared with other types of texts, there are still many difficulties in the translation of these texts. The translation study of the Government work report emphasizes the contrast between the original text and the target text, and does not take into account the feelings of the target language recipient. Eugene Nida's functional equivalence theory has had a profound impact on translators both at home and abroad. It discards the former "text-centered theory" and puts forward that the emphasis of translation lies in the relationship between the text and the reader, thus establishing a translation theory centered on the target language reader's response. In addition, he thinks that the emphasis of translation is the content of the original text, not the form of the original text, and emphasizes the function of the language. The author believes that the translation of the Government work report into English can be analyzed from the perspective of functional equivalence, and the quality of the translation can be further judged by the theory. The first chapter introduces the background and significance of the government work report. The second chapter describes the whole translation process of the government work report from three aspects: pre-translation, translation-Chinese and post-translation. It is necessary to understand the contents, characteristics and conditions of the government work report before translation; to grasp the principles and strategies of translation in the process of translation; and to revise the translation after the completion of translation. In the third chapter, the main contents and applications of Nida's functional equivalence theory are briefly introduced. In the fourth chapter, the author extracts some chapters of the 2015 Government work report and its English translation for text analysis, and studies how to achieve functional equivalence at the lexical, syntactic and textual levels. As we all know, there are great differences between Chinese and English, and it is difficult to achieve the complete equivalence between the target text and the original text. Therefore, the translator should choose the appropriate vocabulary in the process of translation to ensure functional equivalence at the lexical level. In order to express the meaning of the original text accurately, the translator should choose the formal expression in lexical, syntactic and textual levels, and realize functional equivalence as much as possible. The political system, economic system, science and technology development between China and the West bring many difficulties to the translation, so the translator in the translation of political, economic, cultural, scientific and technological aspects of the content, As far as possible, we should choose the acceptable expression of the target language recipient so that the whole text can achieve functional equivalence with the original text. By comparing the original text with the translation, the author finds that the English version achieves functional equivalence in lexical, syntactic and textual aspects, and the translator realizes the functional equivalence between the English version and the original text by means of literal translation and free translation. In the fifth chapter, the author describes some findings, shortcomings and suggestions of the current research. From the perspective of functional equivalence, this paper studies the translation of the 2015 Government work report, explores the translation practice under the guidance of translation theory, expands the application of functional equivalence in translation practice, and summarizes the translation strategies of the government work report. It provides some reference for the English translation of this kind of text.
