【摘要】：由于世界各國對油氣需求日益加劇,傳統(tǒng)的油氣勘探技術(shù)已經(jīng)不能滿足當前的開采計劃,所以需要提出新的先進的油氣勘探技術(shù),并且在全球范圍內(nèi)進行交流。SEG年會暨國際博覽會是全球最大的有關(guān)地球物理勘探的盛會,為世界各國的勘探專家提供了一個交流最新勘探技術(shù)的平臺。SEG會文章全部是由英語撰寫。因此,對SEG會議文章的漢譯成為了部分中國勘探專家掌握最先進的技術(shù)的一個有效媒介。本文作者參與了第84屆SEG年會油氣勘探論文英譯漢項目。在翻譯中,譯者發(fā)現(xiàn)翻譯這類高科技會議文章會遇到一些難點:大量的專業(yè)詞匯,句子結(jié)構(gòu)較長,內(nèi)容紛繁復雜等。針對這些問題,譯者在賴斯翻譯理論的指導下,完成了這次油氣勘探類論文的英譯漢翻譯。賴斯的文本類型翻譯理論指出:文本類型決定翻譯策略。她將文本分為三種類型,即重文本類型、重文本形式和重呼吁文本。每一種文本類型都有其主導功能。在翻譯時,譯者應根據(jù)不同的文本類型的主要交際功能來選擇不同的翻譯標準和翻譯策略。根據(jù)賴斯的文本類型說,譯者將油氣勘探類文章的文本類型和翻譯方法聯(lián)系起來進行分析,得出了以下結(jié)論:油氣勘探類文章屬于科技英語,是重文本內(nèi)容類型,其主要功能在于傳遞信息,因此,為了準確地傳遞原文信息,在翻譯這類文章時,直譯是最恰當?shù)姆g方法。同時,由于英漢文本在詞匯和句法層次上的不同,可根據(jù)不同的情況采用轉(zhuǎn)譯、拆分等翻譯方法。本文通過大量的翻譯實例,向讀者展現(xiàn)出油氣勘探類文章的特點,以及有效地解決此類翻譯問題的方法,希望借此能為油氣勘探行業(yè)的英譯漢翻譯提供一定的參考。
[Abstract]:Because of the increasing demand for oil and gas from all over the world, the traditional oil and gas exploration technology can no longer meet the current production plans, so it is necessary to propose new and advanced oil and gas exploration technologies. And global exchanges. SEG Annual Conference and International Exposition is the world's largest geophysical exploration event, Provides a platform for the world's exploration experts to exchange the latest exploration techniques. SEG will be written in English. Therefore, the translation of SEG conference articles into Chinese has become an effective medium for some Chinese exploration experts to master the most advanced technology. The author participated in the 84 th SEG annual meeting of oil and gas exploration papers. In translation, translators find that translation of high-tech conference articles will encounter some difficulties, such as a large number of professional vocabulary, long sentence structure, complex content and so on. In response to these problems, under the guidance of Rice's translation theory, the translator has completed the C-E translation of this oil and gas exploration paper. Rice's theory of text type translation points out that text type determines translation strategy. She divides the text into three types, namely, the heavy text type, the heavy text form and the reappeal text. Each text type has its dominant function. In translation, translators should choose different translation criteria and strategies according to the main communicative functions of different text types. According to Rice's text type theory, the translator analyzes the text types and translation methods of oil and gas exploration articles and draws the following conclusions: oil and gas exploration articles belong to English for science and technology and are heavy text content types. Its main function is to convey information. Therefore, in order to convey the original information accurately, literal translation is the most appropriate translation method. At the same time, due to the different lexical and syntactic levels of English and Chinese texts, translation methods such as transference and split can be adopted according to different situations. Through a large number of translation examples, this paper shows readers the characteristics of oil and gas exploration articles and the effective methods to solve such translation problems, hoping to provide some reference for English-Chinese translation of oil and gas exploration industry.
