文化遷移視角下的中國高中生英語語用失誤研究

【摘要】:隨著全球化進(jìn)程的加快,不同文化背景的人們之間的交流空前頻繁。在跨文化交際的過程中,當(dāng)來自不同文化的人們利用自己的文化體系和價(jià)值觀念指導(dǎo)自己的行為方式或者用與自己所屬的文化體系相似的規(guī)則去判斷不同文化背景下人們的行為方式時(shí),就會(huì)出現(xiàn)文化遷移現(xiàn)象。在文化遷移的負(fù)面影響下,跨文化交際中的語用失誤頻繁發(fā)生。英語作為通用語言,在跨文化交際中扮演著重要角色,能否在各種交際場合正確使用英語,是英語學(xué)習(xí)的重點(diǎn)難點(diǎn)。雖然二語習(xí)得領(lǐng)域不乏英語語用失誤相關(guān)的研究,但從文化遷移角度對英語語用失誤的研究尚不充分,且以高中生為研究對象的英語語用失誤研究也并未引起足夠的重視。因此,本文對當(dāng)今中國高中生的英語語用能力進(jìn)行調(diào)查和研究,基于文化遷移的角度,發(fā)掘中國高中生當(dāng)中所出現(xiàn)的各類英語語用失誤現(xiàn)象背后的原因,旨在強(qiáng)調(diào)文化差異因素對于語用能力的重要影響,并為英語教學(xué)提供一定的啟示。本文以文化遷移理論、200名中國高中生的英語語用能力問卷調(diào)查數(shù)據(jù)以及語用失誤相關(guān)理論為基礎(chǔ),旨在探索以下問題:首先,中國高中生最易犯的語用失誤類型哪些;其次,從文化角度分析造成每種語用失誤類型的原因;第三,對中國東西部兩所中學(xué)學(xué)生的英語語用能力進(jìn)行比較,對不同性別學(xué)生的語用能力進(jìn)行比較;第四,調(diào)查學(xué)生的英語語言能力與英語語用能力之間是否存在任何關(guān)聯(lián)。最后,本文強(qiáng)調(diào)了培養(yǎng)學(xué)生語用意識和跨文化差異意識的重要性,并結(jié)合中國英語教學(xué)現(xiàn)狀提出了一些具有創(chuàng)新性的教學(xué)建議,旨在減少英語學(xué)習(xí)者在跨文化交際中的語用失誤現(xiàn)象。
[Abstract]:With the acceleration of globalization, people from different cultural backgrounds communicate more frequently than ever. In the process of intercultural communication, When people from different cultures use their own cultural systems and values to guide their behavior or use rules similar to their own cultural systems to judge how people behave in different cultural contexts, There will be cultural transfer. Under the negative influence of cultural transfer, pragmatic failures occur frequently in cross-cultural communication. As a common language, English plays an important role in cross-cultural communication. Although there are many researches on pragmatic failure in the field of second language acquisition, the study of pragmatic failure in English from the perspective of cultural transfer is not enough, and the study of pragmatic failure in English with high school students as the research object has not attracted enough attention. Therefore, this paper investigates and studies the pragmatic competence of Chinese senior high school students, and explores the reasons behind the phenomenon of English pragmatic failure in Chinese senior high school students from the perspective of cultural transfer. The purpose of this paper is to emphasize the important influence of cultural differences on pragmatic competence and to provide some enlightenment for English teaching. Based on the cultural transfer theory and the questionnaire data of 200 Chinese senior high school students' English pragmatic competence and the relevant theories of pragmatic failure, this paper aims to explore the following questions: first, which types of pragmatic failures are most easily committed by Chinese high school students; and secondly, what are the types of pragmatic failures that Chinese high school students are most likely to commit; This paper analyzes the causes of each type of pragmatic failure from a cultural point of view. Thirdly, it compares the pragmatic competence of students of two middle schools in the east and west of China, and compares the pragmatic competence of students of different genders. To investigate whether there is any correlation between students' English language competence and English pragmatic competence. Finally, this paper emphasizes the importance of cultivating students' pragmatic awareness and cross-cultural awareness, and puts forward some innovative teaching suggestions according to the present situation of English teaching in China. The aim is to reduce pragmatic failure of English learners in cross-cultural communication.
