母語負遷移在初中英語寫作中的調(diào)查研究

【摘要】:寫作作為一種語言輸出技能越來越受到廣大教師和學生的關注。在英語寫作過程中,學生難免會受到漢語思維的影響,從而造成了學生寫作能力較差。學生作文中使用了大量的與英語的表達習慣不符的中式英語。雖然母語負遷移現(xiàn)象在英語寫作中是難以避免的,但是這卻成為了提高學生寫作能力的主要障礙。本文作者對初中生英語寫作中出現(xiàn)的母語負遷移現(xiàn)象進行了進一步的調(diào)查,力求對該問題提出有效的建議。本調(diào)查的主要研究問題是:1.不同英語水平的學生在母語依賴上有什么差異?2.在初中英語寫作中,由母語負遷移所產(chǎn)生的錯誤類型有哪些?3.在英語寫作中,由母語負遷移所產(chǎn)生的錯誤原因是什么?本調(diào)查是在遼寧省莊河市第三十一初級中學進行的,調(diào)查歷時一個月。根據(jù)上學期期末成績,從九年級10個班級中選擇了六個班共237名學生參與調(diào)查。這六個班級包括兩個優(yōu)等班(3班和7班)、兩個中等班(5班和10班)、兩個差等班(2班和6班),人數(shù)分別是39、40、41、39、40、38。此外,該調(diào)查采用問卷、訪談和測試的方法來研究不同英語水平的學生在母語依賴上的差異、寫作中所產(chǎn)生的母語負遷移的錯誤類型及其原因。調(diào)查結(jié)果表明,英語水平越高的學生對母語的依賴越少。經(jīng)過調(diào)查統(tǒng)計,作者把由母語負遷移所導致的常見錯誤歸為語法、詞匯、句子和語篇錯誤四個類型,并對其分別進行了深入研究。產(chǎn)生錯誤的原因可歸納為:第一在英語寫作過程中過多的尋求母語的幫助;其次學生缺乏英語基礎知識;再者缺少練習和專業(yè)的訓練;學生未考慮到英漢兩種語言之間的不同。調(diào)查最后,筆者對今后的外語寫作教學提出了一些建議和啟示,希望可以提升學生的寫作能力并幫助教師達到更好的教學效果。本研究在實施過程中仍然存在著許多不足,有待今后進一步完善。
[Abstract]:Writing, as a language output skill, has attracted more and more attention from teachers and students. In the process of English writing, students are unavoidably influenced by Chinese thinking, resulting in poor writing ability. It is unavoidable in English writing, but it has become a major obstacle to improving students'writing ability. The author of this paper makes a further investigation into the negative transfer of mother tongue in junior high school students' English writing, and tries to put forward some effective suggestions to this problem. The main research questions of this survey are as follows: 1. What are the differences in dependence on mother tongue? 2. What are the types of errors caused by negative transfer of mother tongue in junior high school English writing? 3. What are the causes of errors caused by negative transfer of mother tongue in English writing? The survey was conducted in Zhuanghe City, Liaoning Province, for one month. According to the results of the last semester A total of 237 students from six classes of 10 classes in Grade 9 were selected to participate in the survey. The six classes consisted of two excellent classes (3 classes and 7 classes), two middle classes (5 classes and 10 classes), two poor classes (2 classes and 6 classes) with the number of 39,40,41,39,40 and 38 respectively. In addition, the survey used questionnaires, interviews and tests to study different English proficiency levels. The results show that students with higher English proficiency have less dependence on their mother tongue. According to the survey, the author classifies the common errors caused by negative transfer of mother tongue into four types: grammar, vocabulary, sentence and text errors. The reasons for these mistakes can be summarized as follows: first, too much help from mother tongue is sought in the process of English writing; secondly, students lack basic knowledge of English; thirdly, they lack practice and professional training; students do not take into account the differences between English and Chinese. Finally, the author makes a survey on the future teaching of foreign language writing. The study puts forward some suggestions and Enlightenments in the hope of improving students'writing ability and helping teachers achieve better teaching results.
