【摘要】：本文的目的是在紐馬克翻譯理論的指導(dǎo)下對(duì)《黃帝內(nèi)經(jīng)》的兩個(gè)英譯本進(jìn)行對(duì)比研究。紐馬克認(rèn)為有兩種翻譯方法:語(yǔ)義翻譯和交際翻譯,應(yīng)根據(jù)不同語(yǔ)言特色、詞匯-語(yǔ)法層面的特點(diǎn)(lexico-grammatical features)以及文本類型使用不同的翻譯方法。本文提出了三個(gè)研究問(wèn)題:(1)《黃帝內(nèi)經(jīng)》的特點(diǎn)是什么?(2)哪個(gè)翻譯方法最適合于《黃帝內(nèi)經(jīng)》的翻譯?(3)在翻譯此類文本時(shí),怎樣才能得到最好的翻譯效果?本文使用定性研究和對(duì)比研究方法,通過(guò)研究Veith的英譯本和李照國(guó)的英譯本,以試圖解決以上的研究難題。本文從《黃帝內(nèi)經(jīng)》的語(yǔ)言特點(diǎn)和文本功能兩個(gè)方面對(duì)兩個(gè)譯本展開(kāi)對(duì)比研究分析,得出了以下結(jié)論:《黃帝內(nèi)經(jīng)》同時(shí)作為醫(yī)學(xué)文獻(xiàn)與文學(xué)經(jīng)典,具有表情文本和信息文本功能,因此譯者必須根據(jù)文本功能使用適切的翻譯策略。《黃帝內(nèi)經(jīng)》以表情文本為主,因此最適合《黃帝內(nèi)經(jīng)》的翻譯方法是以語(yǔ)義翻譯為主,交際翻譯為輔。
[Abstract]:Under the guidance of Newmark's translation theory, this thesis makes a contrastive study of the two English versions of the Yellow Emperor's Classic. According to Newmark, there are two translation methods: semantic translation and communicative translation, which should be based on different language characteristics, lexical and grammatical characteristics (lexico-grammatical features) and text types. This paper puts forward three research questions: (1) what are the characteristics of Huangdi's Classic of Internal Affairs? (2) which translation method is most suitable for the translation of Huangdi's Classic? (3) how to get the best translation effect when translating this kind of text? By using qualitative and comparative methods, this paper attempts to solve the above problems by studying the English translation of Veith and the English translation of Li Zhaoguo. This paper makes a comparative study and analysis of the two versions from the aspects of the linguistic characteristics and textual functions of the Yellow Emperor's Classic, and draws the following conclusions: Huangdi's Classic is both a medical document and a literary classic. It has the function of emoji text and information text, so the translator must use the appropriate translation strategy according to the text function. The most suitable translation method of Huangdi Classic is semantic translation. Communicative translation is complementary.
