【摘要】：《百年一覺》為晚清時(shí)期英國來華傳教士李提摩太的重要譯作之一。由于當(dāng)時(shí)特定的社會環(huán)境、中西方合作的譯介方式,以及李提摩太自身在華經(jīng)歷和翻譯目的等因素,譯作多處都體現(xiàn)出中西文化的融合。通過對比原文和譯文,從目的論的視角來分析譯者的"傳教"和"宣揚(yáng)新法"這兩個目的,以期發(fā)現(xiàn)并闡述譯者如何在譯介活動中實(shí)現(xiàn)自己的翻譯目的。
[Abstract]:One hundred years'sleep is one of the important translations of English missionaries to China in the late Qing Dynasty. Due to the specific social environment, the translation and introduction of Sino-Western cooperation, and the experience and purpose of Li Timothy's own translation in China, the translation reflects the fusion of Chinese and Western cultures. By comparing the original text with the target text, this paper analyzes the translator's two purposes of "preaching" and "publicizing the new method" from the perspective of Skopos theory, in order to find out and explain how the translator can achieve his translation purpose in the translation activities.
