【摘要】:筆者此次翻譯實踐原文本《美國文學作品中的狼與狼神話》是由美國生態(tài)文學教授S.K.Robisch撰寫的一部學術研究著作。筆者所選部分為該書第十四章雙胞胎和大灰狼的案例研究。該章主要講述兒童及青少年文學作品中的狼形象,作者以主人公(一對雙胞胎)成長過程中接觸到的狼作品為主線舉例介紹了不同風格的狼故事(其中包括幼兒繪本、故事、游戲及小說等),其目的在于生動地向讀者展示文學作品的生態(tài)教育意義。筆者希望借助此次翻譯實踐向漢語讀者引進狼神話的相關作品,讓國內讀者感受其中的生態(tài)教育意義。在此次翻譯實踐前,筆者對諸多主流翻譯理論經(jīng)行的甄別與篩選,最終選定賴斯文本類型為主導理論指導本次翻譯活動。承上所述,本文旨在探討賴斯文本類型學對本次翻譯實踐的理論指導作用。根據(jù)賴斯的文本類型學觀點,文本類型的確定有助于譯者確定特定翻譯目的所需的對等層級。信息功能文本重內容,輕形式;表情功能文本則強調譯文要保持與原文相似的美學效果從而更注重形式;感染型文本重呼吁效果,媒介文本重視聽感受。在本次翻譯實踐中,筆者首先對原文本進行全面分析;而后結合原文本分析確定原文本屬于文學文本研究,其特點與功能符合信息型文本重內容傳遞的特征。由此確定了譯者的兩大翻譯指導原則,即:翻譯時要使譯文完整再現(xiàn)原文內容和使譯文的語言形式完全符合譯語語言習慣。圍繞上述翻譯原則,筆者在翻譯時采用了意譯、直譯、增譯相互搭配的傳統(tǒng)翻譯方法,重點就翻譯中所遇到的詞匯、句子等相關問題進行舉例分析。本報告由翻譯任務背景、譯前準備、譯例分析以及實踐總結四個部分組成。任務背景主要介紹了翻譯任務的來源、本次翻譯實踐的目的以及實踐報告的結構。譯前準備主要是結合文本類型學對原文本進行了細致的分析,包括原文本的創(chuàng)作背景、主要內容、文本分析、翻譯難點以及所選翻譯理論簡述。第三部分譯例分析主要從詞匯層面與句子層面針對遇到的難點分別舉例闡述了本次翻譯實踐過程中所用到的主要的翻譯方法,即直譯、意譯和增譯。第四部分翻譯實踐總結,主要針對本次實踐的收獲與不足之處進行反思。
[Abstract]:The translation of the original text Wolf and Wolf Myth in American Literature is an academic work written by S. K. Robisch, a professor of American ecological literature. The part I selected is a case study of twins and gray wolves in Chapter 14 of the book. This chapter is mainly about the wolf images in children's and adolescents' literature works. The author introduces the wolf stories of different styles (including picture books, stories) with examples of the wolf works that the protagonists (twins) come into contact with in their growing up. Games, novels, etc., which aim to vividly show readers the ecological educational significance of literary works. The author hopes to introduce the relevant works of wolf mythology to Chinese readers with the help of this translation practice so as to make domestic readers feel the significance of ecological education. Prior to this translation practice, the author selected Rice's text type as the leading theory to guide the translation activities through the screening and screening of many mainstream translation theories. The purpose of this paper is to explore the theoretical guidance of Rice's text typology on this translation practice. According to Rice's textual typology, the determination of text typology helps the translator to determine the level of equivalence required for a particular translation purpose. The text of information function emphasizes the content but not the form; the text of facial expression emphasizes that the translation should keep the aesthetic effect similar to the original text so as to pay more attention to the form; the infective text emphasizes the appeal effect and the media text attaches importance to listening and feeling. In this translation practice, the author first makes a comprehensive analysis of the original text, and then combines the original text analysis to determine that the original text belongs to the study of literary text, and its characteristics and functions are in line with the characteristics of informative text with emphasis on content transmission. Therefore, the translator's two guiding principles of translation are as follows: to make the translation complete reproduction of the original content and to make the language form of the translation conform to the language habits of the target language. On the basis of the above translation principles, the author adopts the traditional translation methods of free translation, literal translation and incremental translation, focusing on the analysis of some related problems in translation, such as vocabulary, sentence and so on. This report consists of four parts: translation background, pre-translation preparation, case analysis and practice summary. The background of the task mainly introduces the source of the translation task, the purpose of the translation practice and the structure of the practice report. Pre-translation preparation mainly combines text typology to make a detailed analysis of the original text, including the original text creation background, main content, text analysis, translation difficulties and a brief description of the selected translation theory. The third part of the analysis of translation examples mainly from the lexical level and sentence level to illustrate the difficulties encountered in the translation of the main methods used in the process of translation, namely literal translation, free translation and additional translation. The fourth part is a summary of translation practice, which mainly reflects on the achievements and shortcomings of this practice.
