【摘要】：共同語言是群體身份的重要標(biāo)識(shí),語言則是文化認(rèn)同的一個(gè)重要構(gòu)成要素。英語作為英格蘭文化的主要構(gòu)成因素,也是英格蘭身份認(rèn)同的關(guān)鍵。中世紀(jì)晚期,英語重新成為英格蘭的官方語言,并逐步確立了自身作為宗教語言和文學(xué)語言的地位。成為民族共同語的英語在英格蘭身份認(rèn)同的建構(gòu)中起到了極其重要的作用,加快了近代英格蘭民族國(guó)家形成的步伐。
[Abstract]:Common language is an important symbol of group identity, and language is an important component of cultural identity. English, as the main factor of English culture, is also the key to English identity. In the late Middle Ages, English became the official language of England and gradually established itself as a religious language and a literary language. English as a common language plays a very important role in the construction of identity in England and accelerates the formation of a nation-state in modern England.
