【摘要】：隨著科學技術的發(fā)展,大量的科技信息交流在全球迅猛展開,因此專業(yè)英語的翻譯越來越受到人們的關注。專業(yè)英語涵蓋的范圍很廣,比如說醫(yī)學英語、工程英語等。本文主要討論的是有關服裝產(chǎn)業(yè)的專業(yè)英語。服裝英語除了具有一般專業(yè)性英語的特征外,還有其自身特點:學科覆蓋性、跨文化性等。因此,服裝英語的翻譯也有別于其他專業(yè)英語題材的翻譯,必須遵循其特定的翻譯標準和翻譯技巧。由于英漢兩種語言的表達方式和語言結構的差異,在翻譯的過程中很難做到字詞句上的完全對應。在翻譯時,就需要根據(jù)意義和句法的需要在原文的基礎上增添一些必要的詞,使譯文通順、流暢、自然并且符合漢語的表達習慣,達到最大限度地縮小目的語和原語差異性的目的。因此,在忠實于原文的基礎上,適當?shù)厥褂迷鲎g可以提高翻譯質(zhì)量。本文是一篇英譯漢翻譯實踐報告,所選取的翻譯材料來自于筆者研一第二學期時參與合作翻譯的項目文件,此次翻譯實踐由筆者導師組織完成。本實踐報告以該項目文件—《智能面料》第三章、第四章部分章節(jié)的翻譯實踐為例,結合翻譯過程中遇到的重難點進行分析,主要研究文本中“增譯”這一翻譯策略的應用;案例分析部分就通過對翻譯過程中遇到的重難點案例的分析,從詞法層面和句法層面對增譯法的應用進行了詳細的闡述,旨在提高譯文的專業(yè)性與準確性,并且為服裝類文本中“增譯”翻譯策略的研究提供參考;最后,筆者對此次翻譯任務進行了簡要的總結,用于指導以后的翻譯實踐。
[Abstract]:With the development of science and technology, a large number of scientific and technological information exchange in the rapid development of the world, so the translation of professional English has attracted more and more attention. Professional English covers a wide range, such as medical English, engineering English and so on. This article mainly discusses about the clothing industry specialized English. In addition to the characteristics of general professional English, clothing English also has its own characteristics: subject coverage, cross-cultural, etc. Therefore, the translation of costume English is different from that of other professional English subjects, and must follow its specific translation standards and translation techniques. Due to the differences in expressions and structures between English and Chinese, it is difficult to achieve the complete correspondence of words and sentences in the process of translation. In translation, it is necessary to add some necessary words to the original text according to the needs of meaning and syntax in order to make the translation smooth, natural and in line with the Chinese expression habits. The aim is to minimize the difference between the target language and the source language. Therefore, on the basis of faithfulness to the original text, the appropriate use of additional translation can improve the quality of translation. This paper is a practical report on translation from English to Chinese. The translation materials are selected from the project documents that the author participated in the cooperative translation in the second semester. The translation practice was organized by the author's tutor. This practice report takes the translation practice in Chapter 3 and Chapter 4 of the project document "Intelligent fabrics" as an example and analyzes the important difficulties encountered in the process of translation. It mainly studies the application of the translation strategy of "increasing translation" in the text. In the part of case analysis, through the analysis of the important and difficult cases encountered in the process of translation, the author expounds the application of incremental translation from the lexical and syntactic levels in order to improve the professionalism and accuracy of the translation. It also provides a reference for the study of the translation strategy of "increasing translation" in clothing texts. Finally, the author makes a brief summary of the translation task, which can be used to guide the translation practice in the future.
