【摘要】：本翻譯報告基于報告作者于2016年2月為中國攝影出版社翻譯完成的《攝影與探險》一書。作為一本攝影類書籍,《攝影與探險》并非介紹專門的攝影知識,而是通過大量的故事和例證來講述攝影在人類探險中的重要地位。該書風(fēng)格既有科學(xué)類文本的邏輯性、客觀性、嚴(yán)謹(jǐn)性,又有人文類書籍的流暢、優(yōu)美,充滿吸引力。之所以選擇這本書來做翻譯報告,是因?yàn)樽g者在翻譯該書時遇到的困難、解決困難采取的措施、翻譯中所總結(jié)的經(jīng)驗(yàn)在科普類文本的翻譯中有一定代表性。該報告可以為相關(guān)領(lǐng)域的翻譯提供一些借鑒。本報告包含五個部分:任務(wù)描述,翻譯過程,指導(dǎo)本翻譯實(shí)踐的目的論原理,案例分析及總結(jié)。第一章介紹了翻譯任務(wù)的背景、原文本以及譯文文本的文本特征。原文本的語言風(fēng)格客觀、精煉,同時又有一定的文學(xué)色彩。另外,由于原文屬于社會科學(xué)類范疇,在文中出現(xiàn)了大量復(fù)雜的長句。譯文的文本特征取決于原文的文本特征,譯者有責(zé)任實(shí)現(xiàn)譯文的文本功能。第二章詳細(xì)描述了該翻譯任務(wù)的完成過程,包括翻譯前的準(zhǔn)備,整個過程中的翻譯方式,以及在翻譯中遇到的一些典型問題。該章節(jié)意在表現(xiàn)譯者在翻譯中的狀態(tài)以及翻譯前的各種準(zhǔn)備工作。另外,譯者在翻譯中主要遇到了以下三類問題:藝術(shù)性的語言風(fēng)格,信息選取與名稱翻譯,以及書名的翻譯。第三章概述了目的論原理,尤其是目的論的三個原則。目的論指導(dǎo)了該翻譯任務(wù)的完成,輔助譯者確定了以讀者為中心的翻譯原則和翻譯過程中各個階段的翻譯目標(biāo)。第四章通過例子說明譯者在目的論的指導(dǎo)下怎樣解決翻譯過程中遇到的困難和問題,以及如何對翻譯策略進(jìn)行調(diào)整的。根據(jù)目的論的原則,譯者對翻譯的不同方面進(jìn)行了調(diào)整,包括詞語翻譯,句子結(jié)構(gòu)調(diào)整和信息選取。第五章對此次翻譯任務(wù)以及該翻譯報告進(jìn)行了總結(jié),介紹了此次翻譯中的一些心得體會和收獲。
[Abstract]:This translation report is based on the author's translation of Photography and Adventures for China Photographic Publishing House in February 2016. As a photographic book, Photography and Adventure is not a special knowledge of photography, but through a large number of stories and examples to describe the importance of photography in human exploration. The style of the book is not only logical, objective, rigorous, but also smooth, graceful and attractive. The reason for choosing this book as translation report is because of the difficulties encountered by translators in translating the book and the measures taken to solve the difficulties. The experience gained in translation is representative in the translation of popular science texts. The report can provide some reference for translation in related fields. The first chapter introduces the background of the translation task, the original text and the text features of the target text. The language style of the original text is objective, refined, and at the same time has a certain literary color. In addition, because the original text belongs to the category of social science, a large number of complex long sentences appear in the text. The text feature of the translation depends on the text feature of the original text, and the translator has the responsibility to realize the text function of the translation. The second chapter describes the completion process of the translation task in detail, including the preparation before translation, the way of translation in the whole process, and some typical problems encountered in translation. This chapter is intended to show the translator's state in translation and all kinds of preparatory work before translation. In addition, translators encounter the following three main problems in translation: artistic language style, information selection and name translation, and translation of book titles. The third chapter summarizes the teleology principle, especially the three principles of teleology. Skopos theory guides the completion of the translation task and helps the translator to define the reader-centered translation principles and the translation objectives at all stages of the translation process. Chapter four illustrates how the translator, under the guidance of Skopos theory, solves the difficulties and problems encountered in the process of translation and how to adjust the translation strategies. According to the Skopos principle, the translator adjusts different aspects of translation, including word translation, sentence structure adjustment and information selection.
