【摘要】：本文是一篇翻譯實踐報告,所選文本為美國最高法院首席執(zhí)行官索尼婭·索托瑪約爾的自傳《我摯愛的世界》,講述了作者由貧民窟到最高法院的成長歷程,筆者選取了第一到第四章的內容進行翻譯,以期豐富翻譯經(jīng)驗、提高翻譯水平。同時,筆者也期望譯文能夠引起讀者的興趣并鼓勵讀者積極樂觀地面對生活中的困難。本翻譯實踐報告首先分析傳記文學的文本特點以及源文本的語言特點,之后對翻譯難點進行歸納總結。賴斯認為傳記是處于信息類和表情類之間的文本類型,翻譯時應采取"直白語言"和"同一策略",筆者以此為基礎,對插入語,長句和部分西班牙語的翻譯進行具體的分析。筆者將源文中的插入語分類,選取句首法,前置法,重構法和括號法進行翻譯;長句的翻譯則采用順句操作和句式重構兩種方法;部分西班牙語的翻譯則是采取借助在線翻譯軟件與求助專家的方式。筆者力求最大限度的讓讀者了解傳記人物,并將傳記的真實性和文學性呈現(xiàn)出來,且保證譯文質量。最后,筆者得出本次翻譯實踐的心得體會,同時發(fā)現(xiàn)一些不足之處和尚待解決的問題。
[Abstract]:This paper is a translation practice report selected in the autobiography of Sonia Sotomayor, Chief Executive Officer of the Supreme Court of the United States, "my beloved World", which describes the author's growth from the slums to the Supreme Court. The author chooses the contents of the first to fourth chapters to enrich the translation experience and improve the translation level. At the same time, the author hopes that the translation will arouse the readers' interest and encourage them to face the difficulties in life positively and optimistically. This translation practice report first analyzes the text characteristics of biographical literature and the linguistic characteristics of the source text, and then summarizes the translation difficulties. Rice believes that biographies are text types between information and emoticons, which should be translated with "direct language" and "the same strategy". Based on this, the author makes a concrete analysis of the translation of inserts, long sentences and some Spanish. The author classifies the inserts in the source text, selects the first method, the front method, the reconstruction method and the parenthesis method for translation, while the long sentence translation adopts two methods: the operation of the following sentence and the reconstruction of the sentence pattern. Some Spanish translations are based on online translation software and expert help. The author tries to let readers know biographical characters to the maximum extent, and presents the authenticity and literariness of biographies, and guarantees the quality of translation. Finally, the author draws the experience of this translation practice and finds some shortcomings and problems to be solved.
