功能對等理論指導(dǎo)下《語言與文化—翻譯中的語境》(第一部分第五章至第六章)翻譯報告

【摘要】:本翻譯報告所選的原文是奈達所著的《語言與文化-翻譯中的語境》中的第一部分第五、六章的內(nèi)容。該書作者主要闡明了語言與文化及翻譯之間的關(guān)系問題,內(nèi)容豐富全面。該書的翻譯是譯者在導(dǎo)師的悉心指導(dǎo)下,以奈達的功能對等理論為指導(dǎo)逐漸完善完成的;趯ξ恼碌睦斫夂头g,譯者根據(jù)奈達功能對等理論要求,從詞匯、句法、語篇層面準確再現(xiàn)源語文化內(nèi)涵。在詞法層面,譯者以功能對等理論為指導(dǎo),采用增減法、轉(zhuǎn)換法、反譯法等翻譯方法來處理。在句法層面,譯者保留部分原結(jié)構(gòu)進行翻譯實踐,另外,在英譯漢中,對部分語句語序做相應(yīng)變換,如英語中的被動語態(tài)在翻譯成漢語時,則需要變換成主動語態(tài);翻譯從句時,需要調(diào)整語序或者采用拆分法等手段進行處理。在語篇層面,譯者通過分譯法和重組法來重點分析,同時,筆者注意邏輯關(guān)系和銜接方式之間的轉(zhuǎn)換。最后,譯者希望此翻譯實踐為今后此類翻譯提供一點經(jīng)驗和參考意義。本翻譯報告分為四個部分,第一部分主要是對本書和作者以及此次翻譯任務(wù)進行一個簡單的介紹,第二部分重點介紹了功能對等理論,主要介紹了功能對等理論的含義,功能對等理論的原則,以及功能對等理論的發(fā)展。第三部分是案例分析部分,是本翻譯報告的重點章節(jié),主要探討了如何把奈達功能對等理論與翻譯實踐相結(jié)合,在翻譯過程中,如何應(yīng)用功能對等理論。以功能對等理論為指導(dǎo),譯者探討了用翻譯技巧來分析詞匯,句法和語篇。第四部分是本翻譯報告最后章節(jié),譯者主要總結(jié)了翻譯過程中的問題和得到啟示。
[Abstract]:The source text of this translation report is part five and Chapter six of Nida's language and Culture: context in Translation. The author mainly expounds the relationship between language, culture and translation. The translation of the book was completed under the guidance of his tutor and guided by Nida's functional equivalence theory. Based on the understanding and translation of the text, the translator accurately reproduces the cultural connotations of the source language from the lexical, syntactic and textual levels according to Nida's functional equivalence theory. At lexical level, the translator takes the functional equivalence theory as the guidance, adopts the addition and subtraction method, the transformation method, the inverse translation method and so on. At the syntactic level, the translator preserves part of the original structure for translation practice. In addition, in the English-Chinese translation, the corresponding transformation of some sentence order is made, such as the passive voice in English needs to be transformed into active voice when it is translated into Chinese. When translating clauses, we need to adjust the word order or deal with them by means of split method. At the textual level, the translator focuses on translation and reorganization, while the author pays attention to the transformation between logical relations and cohesion. Finally, the translator hopes that this translation practice will provide some experience and reference for such translation in the future. This translation report is divided into four parts. The first part is a brief introduction to the book, the author and the translation task. The second part focuses on the functional equivalence theory, which mainly introduces the meaning of functional equivalence theory. The principle of functional equivalence and the development of functional equivalence. The third part is the case study, which is the key chapter of this translation report. It mainly discusses how to combine Nida's functional equivalence theory with translation practice and how to apply functional equivalence theory in the process of translation. Guided by functional equivalence, the translator explores the use of translation techniques in lexical, syntactic and textual analysis. The fourth part is the last chapter of this translation report. The translator summarizes the problems in the process of translation and draws inspiration.
