關(guān)聯(lián)理論視域下《唐頓莊園》中話語標(biāo)記語Oh的語用功能研究

【摘要】:話語標(biāo)記語廣泛應(yīng)用于各種語言中,是日常生活中的一種常見語言現(xiàn)象。它是一種話語層次上的標(biāo)記,在話語中起著停頓、延遲、表達(dá)交際者情感等作用,一定程度上有助于使語篇更具有連貫性與條理性。因此越來越多的學(xué)者對(duì)話語標(biāo)記語進(jìn)行研究。學(xué)者們之前都傾向于把話語標(biāo)記語看作是主要出現(xiàn)在話語中且發(fā)揮一定的語用功能的語言現(xiàn)象。自90年代以來,話語標(biāo)記語的研究逐漸被推向了一個(gè)新的階段。語言學(xué)家布萊克莫爾率先從認(rèn)知-語用的角度出發(fā),對(duì)話語標(biāo)記語的作用進(jìn)行研究,其理論依據(jù)就是法國(guó)語言學(xué)家斯珀伯與英國(guó)語言學(xué)家威爾遜所提出的關(guān)聯(lián)理論。本文是在語言學(xué)家斯珀伯與威爾遜提出的關(guān)聯(lián)理論的基礎(chǔ)上,以《唐頓莊園》中含有話語標(biāo)記語Oh的對(duì)話為語料,進(jìn)而對(duì)話語標(biāo)記語Oh的語用功能進(jìn)行嘗試性的分析和探究。本論文主要試圖找出以下三個(gè)問題的答案:(1)話語標(biāo)記語Oh在明示-推理交際過程中實(shí)現(xiàn)了哪些功能?(2)話語標(biāo)記語Oh在獲得最佳關(guān)聯(lián)方面具有哪些功能?(3)話語標(biāo)記語Oh在獲得語境效果時(shí)體現(xiàn)了什么功能。通過以上三個(gè)方面對(duì)話語標(biāo)記語Oh的語用功能研究,本文的最終目的是為推動(dòng)研究話標(biāo)記語的進(jìn)一步發(fā)展盡綿薄之力。本論文由三部分構(gòu)成,引言、正文和結(jié)論。主要內(nèi)容如下:第一部分是引言。引言主要介紹了本文的研究背景,即對(duì)話語標(biāo)記語國(guó)內(nèi)外研究現(xiàn)狀做簡(jiǎn)要概述。此外還簡(jiǎn)單介紹本論文的現(xiàn)實(shí)意義和目的,以及語料來源《唐頓莊園》。本文以關(guān)聯(lián)理論為基礎(chǔ),對(duì)《唐頓莊園》第一季和第二季中的對(duì)話進(jìn)行分析,進(jìn)而闡釋話語標(biāo)記語Oh在《唐頓莊園》中的語用功能。第二部分是正文部分,是論文的主體部分,由四個(gè)章節(jié)構(gòu)成。第一章是文獻(xiàn)綜述。文獻(xiàn)綜述分為四個(gè)部分。本文首先介紹國(guó)內(nèi)外代表性語言學(xué)家對(duì)話語標(biāo)記語的不同定義和分類,以及功能和特點(diǎn)。其次,介紹了關(guān)聯(lián)理論及其相關(guān)概念,包括明示推理模式、關(guān)聯(lián)原則和語境效果。然后對(duì)話語標(biāo)記語進(jìn)行關(guān)聯(lián)性闡述。最后簡(jiǎn)要介紹《唐頓莊園》的主要內(nèi)容。第二章主要在關(guān)聯(lián)理論的指導(dǎo)下,對(duì)話語標(biāo)記語Oh在明示-推理交際過程中實(shí)現(xiàn)了哪些功能進(jìn)行闡述。文章從明示和推理兩個(gè)方面,對(duì)話語標(biāo)記語Oh進(jìn)行分析。通過分析得出,話語標(biāo)記語Oh使用頻率高且具有多種語用功能,包括情感標(biāo)記,評(píng)價(jià)標(biāo)記功,請(qǐng)求標(biāo)記功能,期待標(biāo)記以及敘述標(biāo)記功能。在明示-推理交際模式中,Oh能夠刺激明示推理過程的產(chǎn)生。為了達(dá)到交際意圖,說話人應(yīng)提供足夠的明示,而聽話人根據(jù)說話人的話語來推斷說話人的信息意圖,作出合理的反應(yīng),以促進(jìn)成功的溝通。第三章從話語標(biāo)記語Oh在獲得最佳關(guān)聯(lián)方面具有哪些功能角度分析。交際的最終目的是獲得最佳關(guān)聯(lián),而最佳關(guān)聯(lián)是指付出有效的努力獲得足夠的語境效果。話語標(biāo)記語可以限制語篇的理解,幫助交際者選擇正確的認(rèn)知環(huán)境,使聽話者付出較少的認(rèn)知努力獲得最大的認(rèn)知效果。當(dāng)獲得最佳關(guān)聯(lián)時(shí),話語標(biāo)記語Oh具有話語延遲標(biāo)記功能、話語啟動(dòng)標(biāo)記功能、引起注意功能和緩和面子威脅功能。第四章從話語標(biāo)記語Oh在獲得語境效果時(shí)體現(xiàn)了什么功能的角度進(jìn)行分析。語境制約話語的生成與理解。話語標(biāo)記語作為一種語言手段,具有語境協(xié)商功能。通過發(fā)揮不同的語用功能,話語標(biāo)記語Oh能夠引起語境效果,因此具有加強(qiáng)和反駁現(xiàn)有命題的功能。交談?wù)呖梢越柚欢ǖ恼Z言手段限制相關(guān)的語境,從而獲得最佳關(guān)聯(lián)并且使交際順利進(jìn)行,而話語標(biāo)記語是最有效的方式之一。第三部分是結(jié)論部分,對(duì)全文進(jìn)行歸納總結(jié)。同時(shí)指出論文中存在的不足,以及提出對(duì)將來相關(guān)研究的建議。通過上述研究發(fā)現(xiàn),關(guān)聯(lián)理論對(duì)話語標(biāo)記語的功能具有很強(qiáng)的解釋力,同時(shí)還發(fā)現(xiàn)話語標(biāo)記語在日常交際中具有較高的出現(xiàn)頻率以及對(duì)語篇連貫性方面有著不可或缺的重要作用。正確使用話語標(biāo)記語有助于有效地理解話語,使話語更連貫,從而達(dá)到成功交際的目的。
[Abstract]:Discourse markers are widely used in various languages. It is a common language phenomenon in everyday life. It is a sign on the level of discourse. It plays the role of pause, delay, and expression of the communicator's emotion in the discourse. To some extent, it helps to make the text more coherent and rational. So more and more scholars have the discourse markers. Scholars have been inclined to regard discourse markers as a linguistic phenomenon that mainly appears in the discourse and exerts a certain pragmatic function. Since 90s, the study of discourse markers has been gradually pushed to a new stage. Linguist Blakemore took the lead in the discourse markers from the perspective of cognitive pragmatics. The study of the function of language is based on the relevance theory proposed by the French linguist Speba and the British linguist Wilson. This paper, based on the relevance theory proposed by linguist Speba and Wilson, takes the dialogues containing the discourse marker Oh in the "Dutton Manor" as the corpus, and then to the discourse marker Oh. An attempt to analyze and explore pragmatic functions. This paper tries to find out the following three questions: (1) what functions do discourse markers Oh have achieved in ostensive inferential communication? (2) what are the functions of the discourse marker Oh in obtaining the best relevance? (3) what is the expression of the discourse marker Oh in the context of contextual effects Function. Through the study of the pragmatic functions of the dialogic Oh in the above three aspects, the ultimate aim of this paper is to promote the further development of the study mark language. This thesis consists of three parts, introduction, text and conclusion. The main contents are as follows: the first part is the introduction. In the third chapter, what functional angles are made from the discourse marker Oh in obtaining the best relevance. The ultimate purpose of communication is to obtain the best relevance, and the most important. Good relevance refers to the effective effort to obtain sufficient contextual effects. Discourse markers can restrict the understanding of the text, help the interlocutor choose the correct cognitive environment, and make the listener pay less cognitive effort to obtain the maximum cognitive effect. When the best association is obtained, the discourse marker Oh has the function of discourse delay marking and discourse initiation. The fourth chapter analyzes the function and function of the discourse marker Oh in the context of contextual effects. The discourse markers are used as a language means and have the function of contextual quotient. Oh can cause contextual effects, so it has the function of strengthening and refuting the existing propositions. The speaker can restrict the relevant context by means of a certain language, so as to obtain the best correlation and make the communication smooth, and the discourse marker is one of the most effective ways. The third part is the conclusion part, and the full text is summed up. At the same time, it points out the shortcomings in the paper and puts forward some suggestions on the future research. Through the above study, it is found that the function of the relevance theory dialogues has a strong explanatory power. At the same time, it is found that the frequency of discourse markers is higher in daily communication and is indispensable to the coherence of the discourse. The correct use of discourse markers helps to effectively understand utterances and make discourse more coherent so as to achieve the goal of successful communication.
