【摘要】：本文對(duì)包臘《紅樓夢(mèng)》前八回英譯本"序言"做出中文翻譯及研究。包臘譯本"序言"成文時(shí)間較早,內(nèi)容亦非常典型地體現(xiàn)出19世紀(jì)歐洲對(duì)于《紅樓夢(mèng)》以及中國(guó)文化傳統(tǒng)的"東方主義"式想象。該序言對(duì)于《紅樓夢(mèng)》英譯研究和海外漢學(xué)研究都具有文獻(xiàn)價(jià)值。本文首先厘清序言的基本情況,然后將"序言"翻譯成中文,最后對(duì)序言中存在的中西文化誤讀做出學(xué)術(shù)探討。
[Abstract]:This paper makes a Chinese translation and research on the foreword of the first eight English versions of Bao La's A Dream of Red Mansions. The preface of Baolai's translation was written earlier, and the content of the preface is also a typical reflection of the "oriental" imagination of the Dream of the Red Mansions and the Chinese cultural tradition in Europe in the 19th century. The preface is of great value for both English translation and overseas Sinology studies in A Dream of Red Mansions. This paper first clarifies the basic situation of the preface, then translates the preface into Chinese, and finally makes an academic discussion on the misreading of Chinese and western cultures in the preface.
