【摘要】：隨著科技領(lǐng)域的競爭日趨激烈,我國引進的先進機械產(chǎn)品也越來越多。機械產(chǎn)品的《說明手冊》成為中外企業(yè)合作的橋梁,而其漢譯質(zhì)量決定著操作人員是否能正確操作機器。筆者在韓禮德的銜接與連貫理論的指導(dǎo)下,以The Instruction Manual for Operation and Maintenance—Rotative Labelling Machine(節(jié)選)的漢譯為例,從詞匯、語句、語篇層面分析源語文本的銜接手段,并通過比較中、英文銜接手段的異同,總結(jié)出可提高譯文連貫性的翻譯策略,以期為日后說明手冊類文本的翻譯提供方法支持。筆者發(fā)現(xiàn),利用詞匯銜接方式翻譯可增強譯文的簡潔性;利用語句銜接方式翻譯可增強譯文邏輯性;利用語篇銜接方式翻譯可改善譯文連貫性。因此,在翻譯說明手冊類文本時,只有掌握英、漢語銜接方式的異同,才能進行恰當?shù)恼Z言轉(zhuǎn)換,譯文的邏輯性、連貫性也會得以保證。
[Abstract]:With the increasingly fierce competition in the field of science and technology, China has introduced more and more advanced mechanical products.The manual of instructions for mechanical products has become a bridge for Chinese and foreign enterprises to work together, and the quality of its translation determines whether the operator can operate the machine correctly.Under the guidance of Halliday's cohesion and coherence theory, taking the Chinese translation of The Instruction Manual for Operation and Maintenance-Rotative Labelling Machine as an example, the author analyzes the cohesive devices of the source text at the lexical, sentence and discourse levels.The similarities and differences of English cohesive devices summarize the translation strategies which can improve the coherence of the translation so as to support the translation of manual texts in the future.The author finds that lexical cohesion can enhance the conciseness of the translation, the sentence cohesion can enhance the logic of the translation, and the textual cohesion can improve the coherence of the translation.Therefore, only by mastering the similarities and differences of cohesion between English and Chinese, the proper language conversion can be made, and the logic and coherence of the translation can be ensured.
