【摘要】：源文使用是二語學(xué)習(xí)者的一項重要技能。然而,前人在此方面的研究內(nèi)容相對局限,就如何提高源文使用能力所提出的建議也只是基于其對學(xué)生某一時間點的寫作表現(xiàn)進行研究的結(jié)果,而非真正對學(xué)生能力的變化進行深入探索。基于此,本研究試圖探討中國學(xué)生英語寫作中的源文使用歷時變化,主要研究學(xué)生源文使用的語言特征和具體策略在一年內(nèi)發(fā)生的變化。研究在山東省某重點高校進行,研究對象共計50名英語專業(yè)學(xué)生。其中28名為本科生一年級學(xué)生,22名為研究生一年級學(xué)生。數(shù)據(jù)采自學(xué)生完成一綜合性讀寫任務(wù)后產(chǎn)出的作文文本、自我評價問卷及半結(jié)構(gòu)化訪談。本研究從源文使用的語言特征和具體策略來全面分析學(xué)生的寫作文本。研究對象在一年后再次完成了同樣的寫作任務(wù)及調(diào)查問卷。研究結(jié)果顯示,中國二語學(xué)習(xí)者的源文使用水平在一年后有所提升,說明源文使用行為是一個發(fā)展的過程。一段時間后,學(xué)生在寫作中能使用更高水平的語言及更好的源文使用策略。然而,受試本科生和研究生呈現(xiàn)出不同水平的變化。相較于本科生,研究生在源文使用的語言和策略方面在一年后都有更多提高,這意味著其源文使用的能力提升更大。研究發(fā)現(xiàn),學(xué)生源文使用能力變化的直接原因在于其與任務(wù)和源文的互動程度,而更根本的是受其過去一年所處的學(xué)術(shù)環(huán)境的影響,即,學(xué)生所受的教育及其之前的寫作經(jīng)驗。本研究在一定程度上彌補了當(dāng)前對中國英語教學(xué)環(huán)境中的源文使用問題研究的空白,研究結(jié)果對大學(xué)英語教學(xué)也有一定的啟示作用。
[Abstract]:Source language use is an important skill for second language learners.However, the previous researches in this area are relatively limited, and the suggestions on how to improve the ability of using the source text are based on the results of the research on the students' writing performance at a certain point in time.Instead of really exploring the changes of students' abilities.Based on this, the present study attempts to explore the diachronic changes in the use of source text in Chinese students' English writing, focusing on the changes in language characteristics and specific strategies taken place within one year.The study was conducted in a key university in Shandong Province, with a total of 50 English majors.Among them, 28 are first-year undergraduate students and 22 are first-year graduate students.The data were collected from composition texts, self-evaluation questionnaires and semi-structured interviews.The present study comprehensively analyzes the students' writing texts from the perspective of the language characteristics and specific strategies used in the source text.The subjects completed the same writing task and questionnaire again a year later.The results show that the level of source language use of Chinese second language learners has improved a year later, indicating that the source language use behavior is a process of development.After a period of time, students can use a higher level of language and better strategies in writing.However, the undergraduate and graduate students showed different levels of change.Compared with undergraduate students, graduate students have more improvement in language and strategy after one year, which means that their ability to use source language is better.It is found that the direct reason for the change of students' ability to use the source language is the degree of interaction with the task and the source text, and more fundamentally, it is influenced by the academic environment in which they lived in the past year, that is, the education received by the students and their previous writing experience.To a certain extent, this study has made up for the gaps in the current research on the use of source text in the Chinese English teaching environment, and the results of the study also have some implications for college English teaching.
