【摘要】：作為世界文學寶庫中的瑰寶,《紅樓夢》深受世界各國人民的喜愛,其文學價值也越來越受到各國學者的肯定�；诖�,學者們熱衷于《紅樓夢》的譯介研究。文學作品譯介的重要性毋庸置疑,譯介的好壞將直接影響文化的傳播,《紅樓夢》作為中國傳統(tǒng)文化的集大成者,它的譯介至關重要。在《紅樓夢》的諸多譯本中,最受關注的當屬英國漢學家大衛(wèi)·霍克思和中國學者楊憲益及其夫人戴乃迭的譯本。語法隱喻是語言學中的重要理論,韓禮德首先在其著作《功能語法導論》里提出了這個概念。隱喻的概念最初僅局限于詞匯層面,認為隱喻是相同的詞不同意思的運用;而語法隱喻的出現(xiàn),則把隱喻延伸到了語法層面,即同樣的意思可以由不同的方式來表達。到目前為止,學者們已對《紅樓夢》譯本展開全方位、多角度的研究,但從語法隱喻角度對《紅樓夢》譯本的研究卻很少。翻譯呈現(xiàn)給讀者的最終形式是語言,因此,從語言學角度來研究譯本,更符合翻譯的本質,由此確立了本文的創(chuàng)新點。本文采用了對比分析法,文獻資料法對比研究《紅樓夢》兩個英譯本。以霍、楊兩譯本為藍本,以語法隱喻理論為指導,分別從概念語法隱喻、人際語法隱喻以及語篇語法隱喻三個方面對比分析《紅樓夢》兩個譯本,分析兩個譯本對相同語句的翻譯情況,判斷譯文是一致式的翻譯還是隱喻式的翻譯,再結合原文的語境,分析哪種形式更加符合原文,選出更加符合原文語境的翻譯,從而得出語法隱喻對于文學翻譯的啟示:(1)語法隱喻理論可以作為傳統(tǒng)翻譯策略的有益補充,為翻譯提供一定的借鑒作用;(2)語法隱喻理論與文學翻譯理論關系密切,使用語法隱喻理論,可以使譯文更加忠實地再現(xiàn)原文,有利于傳遞原文的思想內容;(3)在使用語法隱喻理論時,要具體問題具體分析,在某些語境中,使用一致式的表達要優(yōu)于隱喻式的表達。
[Abstract]:As the treasure of the world literature, the Dream of Red Mansions is loved by people all over the world, and its literary value is more and more recognized by scholars from all over the world. Scholars are keen on the translation and introduction of A Dream of Red Mansions. The importance of translation and introduction of literary works is beyond doubt. The quality of translation will directly affect the spread of culture. Among the many translations of A Dream of Red Mansions, the most popular ones are those of English sinologist David Hawkes and Chinese scholar Yang Xianyi and his wife Dai Nadian. Grammatical metaphor is an important theory in linguistics. Halliday first put forward this concept in his book introduction to functional Grammar. The concept of metaphor was initially confined to the lexical level and considered metaphor to be the use of the same word with different meanings, and the appearance of grammatical metaphor. The metaphor is extended to the grammatical level, that is, the same meaning can be expressed in different ways. So far, scholars have carried out a comprehensive and multi-angle study on the translation of A Dream of Red Mansions. However, from the perspective of grammatical metaphor, there is little research on the translation of A Dream of Red Mansions. The ultimate form of translation presented to readers is language. Therefore, it is more in line with the essence of translation to study the translation from a linguistic perspective. This paper adopts the comparative analysis method and the literature method to study the two English versions of "A Dream of Red Mansions". Based on Huo and Yang's two versions, and guided by the grammatical metaphor theory, this paper makes a comparative study of conceptual grammatical metaphors. A Comparative Analysis of the two versions of A Dream of Red Mansions from three aspects of interpersonal grammatical metaphor and textual grammatical metaphor, the author analyzes the translation of the same sentence in the two versions, and judges whether the translation is a consistent translation or a metaphorical translation. Combined with the context of the original text, this paper analyzes which forms are more in line with the original text, and selects the translation that is more in line with the original context, so as to draw the conclusion that grammatical metaphor can be used as a useful supplement to the traditional translation strategies for literary translation. The grammatical metaphor theory is closely related to the literary translation theory. The use of grammatical metaphor theory can make the target text more faithful to the original text. In the use of grammatical metaphor theory, concrete problems should be analyzed. In some contexts, the use of consistent expression is superior to metaphorical expression.
