【摘要】：反常語不僅常見于文學作品,在非文學文本中也常有運用,國內和西方學者對這種特殊的語言表現(xiàn)手段皆有關注和討論。錢鍾書先生在《談藝錄》中專門提起這一現(xiàn)象,稱之為"反常之語言";美國學者劉易斯剖析了翻譯中不同于"常語"的"反常語"現(xiàn)象,指出反常語特點鮮明,自成體系,翻譯反常語不僅要有相應的原則,而且還需要新的忠實觀。韋努蒂也明確認為反常語的翻譯要遵循"反常的忠實",以目的語的反常來達到對原語中反常語的忠實。無獨有偶,我國譯界前輩許淵沖先生更有針對性地強調了反常語"非常譯"的原則,以不循常規(guī)的靈活譯法來破譯反常語。理清這些涉及反常語和反常語翻譯的論述,無疑將有助于我們加深對于反常語的認識,進而加強對于反常語翻譯的研究。本文通過一些反常語的現(xiàn)成譯例,分析、討論了反常語的類別劃分,指出了幾種不同的翻譯概念對反常語翻譯的適用性和局限性。反常語翻譯的理論和實踐說明,中西譯論可以相互補充,理應兼收并蓄,而翻譯理論需要有翻譯實踐作為檢驗的標準。
[Abstract]:Abnormal language is not only common in literary works, but also often used in non-literary texts. Domestic and western scholars have paid close attention to and discussed this special means of language expression. Lewis, an American scholar, has analyzed the phenomenon of "abnormal language", which is different from "ordinary language" in translation, and pointed out that abnormal language is characterized by its distinctive characteristics and has its own system, and that the translation of abnormal language should not only have corresponding principles. It also needs a new concept of faithfulness. Weinuti also clearly believes that the translation of abnormal words should follow "abnormal faithfulness" and achieve the faithfulness of the abnormal words in the source language by the anomaly of the target language. Mr. Xu Yuanchong, our forerunner in translation circles, has emphasized the principle of "extraordinary translation" of abnormal words, and has interpreted abnormal words in an irregular and flexible way, so as to clarify these expositions concerning the translation of abnormal words and abnormal words. Undoubtedly, it will help us to deepen our understanding of abnormal language and further strengthen our research on the translation of abnormal language. This paper discusses the classification of abnormal words through some examples of ready-made translation of abnormal words. This paper points out the applicability and limitation of several different translation concepts to abnormal translation. The theory and practice of abnormal translation show that Chinese and western translation theories can complement each other and should be combined. Translation theory needs translation practice as the test standard.
