【摘要】：本次翻譯實踐選定美國聯(lián)邦最高法院2016年6月23日的一份民事判決書作為材料。探討了美國判決書的性質(zhì)及語言特點。在文本類型理論的框架下,通過分析文本來確定適合的翻譯原則、采取對應(yīng)的翻譯策略及翻譯技巧。從詞匯及句法兩個層面舉例分析了譯者如何再現(xiàn)源文本的內(nèi)容及意圖。在詞匯層面,譯者展示了如何處理普通詞匯的法律意義以及名詞化現(xiàn)象。句法層面,譯者討論了對司法文本中常見的被動句、定語從句及名詞性從句、否定轉(zhuǎn)移現(xiàn)象的處理。本報告分為四個章節(jié)。第一章為翻譯任務(wù)描述,概述了此次任務(wù)的背景和意義,介紹了源文本的性質(zhì)和語言特點。第二章為翻譯過程描述,介紹了譯前的準(zhǔn)備工作,應(yīng)用的翻譯理論、遵循的翻譯原則、采取的翻譯策略及技巧,展示翻譯及實踐報告進度表,討論翻譯過程以及翻譯后的質(zhì)量管理工作。第三章案例分析是該報告的主要部分,展示了譯者對源文本的具體處理。第四章為結(jié)論部分,總結(jié)了此次翻譯實踐的發(fā)現(xiàn)、不足、及建議。
[Abstract]:This translation practice selects a civil judgment of the United States Federal Supreme Court on June 23rd 2016 as the material. It discusses the nature and linguistic characteristics of the United States judgment. By analyzing the text to determine the appropriate translation principles, adopting corresponding translation strategies and translation techniques, this paper analyzes how the translator reproduces the content and intention of the source text from the lexical and syntactic levels. The translator shows how to deal with the legal meaning and nominalization of common vocabulary. At the syntactic level, the translator discusses the common passive, attributive and nominal clauses in judicial texts. This report is divided into four chapters. The first chapter is the translation task description, which summarizes the background and significance of the task, introduces the nature and linguistic characteristics of the source text, and the second chapter describes the translation process. This paper introduces the preparatory work before translation, the applied translation theory, the translation principles followed, the translation strategies and techniques adopted, and shows the schedule of translation and practice report. The third chapter, case analysis, is the main part of the report, which shows the translator's specific treatment of the source text. Chapter 4th is the conclusion part, which summarizes the findings of this translation practice. And recommendations.
