【摘要】：本篇翻譯報(bào)告是作者基于《中國(guó)歷史》這本書(shū)而寫(xiě)�！吨袊�(guó)歷史》由肯尼斯·普萊徹(Kenneth Pletcher)主編,隸屬于Understanding China叢書(shū)。全書(shū)分為15章,介紹了從遠(yuǎn)古時(shí)代到21世紀(jì)初中國(guó)的政治制度、文化、大事記等各方面,內(nèi)容比較系統(tǒng)全面。作者選取《中國(guó)歷史》作為翻譯材料是因?yàn)檫@本書(shū)不僅涉及了中國(guó)璀璨的歷史,而且此書(shū)由外國(guó)人主編,從外國(guó)人的角度寫(xiě)中國(guó)歷史,讓中國(guó)讀者讀來(lái)更具趣味,也滿足了我們的好奇心。我們?cè)缫蚜?xí)慣自己歷史課本上的中國(guó),但外國(guó)人眼中的中國(guó)仍有待挖掘。因此作者選取了此書(shū)的三個(gè)章節(jié)即商代、漢代和建國(guó)初期三個(gè)章節(jié)進(jìn)行翻譯實(shí)踐。本報(bào)告首先會(huì)簡(jiǎn)要介紹此次翻譯實(shí)踐的重要性和必要性、作者選取《中國(guó)歷史》作為翻譯項(xiàng)目和彼得·紐馬克的“翻譯關(guān)聯(lián)法”作為翻譯理論的原因。在報(bào)告第二章節(jié),作者會(huì)詳細(xì)介紹翻譯實(shí)踐項(xiàng)目,包括對(duì)《中國(guó)歷史》這本書(shū)的介紹、所選取章節(jié)的語(yǔ)言特點(diǎn)和風(fēng)格描述、以及作者在翻譯前所做的準(zhǔn)備、譯中處理及遇到的問(wèn)題和譯后修改、重、難句再譯及反思。本報(bào)告會(huì)在第三部分重點(diǎn)介紹彼得·紐馬克提出“翻譯關(guān)聯(lián)法”背景,及“翻譯關(guān)聯(lián)法”的具體含義。然后作者會(huì)結(jié)合《中國(guó)歷史》的文本特點(diǎn)和語(yǔ)言風(fēng)格,從詞匯、語(yǔ)法及文本貼切程度三方面舉例說(shuō)明并具體論述該翻譯策略是如何為翻譯《中國(guó)歷史》提供理論支持。最后,作者會(huì)回顧整個(gè)翻譯實(shí)踐,全面分析、總結(jié)彼得·紐馬克翻譯理論,為以后的翻譯實(shí)踐提供指導(dǎo),同時(shí)也希望為日后的中外文化交流做出自己應(yīng)有的貢獻(xiàn)。
[Abstract]:This translation report is based on the book Chinese History, edited by Kenneth Pletcher. Understanding China series. The book is divided into 15 chapters. It introduces the political system, culture and memorabilia of China from ancient times to early 21th century. The author chooses "Chinese History" as translation material because it not only deals with the resplendent history of China, but also is edited by foreigners and writes Chinese history from the perspective of foreigners. Making Chinese readers more interesting and satisfying our curiosity. We are used to China in our history textbooks. But in the eyes of foreigners, China still needs to be excavated. So the author chose three chapters of the book, namely Shang Dynasty. In the Han Dynasty and in the early days of the Republic of China, the translation practice was carried out in three chapters. This report will first briefly introduce the importance and necessity of the translation practice. The author chooses Chinese History as the translation project and Peter Newmark's Translation relevance method as the reason for the translation theory. In the second chapter of the report, the author will give a detailed account of the translation practice project. It includes an introduction to the book "Chinese History", a description of the language characteristics and style of the selected chapters, as well as the preparation made by the author before translation, the problems encountered in the translation and the post-translation modification. The third part of this report focuses on the background of Peter Newmark's "Translation relevance method". And the specific meaning of "Translation relevance method". Then the author will combine the text characteristics and language style of "Chinese History" from the vocabulary. The grammar and the relevance of the text are illustrated and discussed in detail how the translation strategy provides theoretical support for the translation of Chinese History. Finally, the author will review the whole translation practice and make a comprehensive analysis. Summing up Peter Newmark's translation theory, providing guidance for later translation practice, and hoping to make his own contribution to the future cultural exchange between China and foreign countries.
