【摘要】：本論文是一篇英譯漢翻譯報(bào)告,翻譯原文為喬·胡托(Joe Hutto)所著《高山之光》(The Light in High Places)第—章1-4節(jié)內(nèi)容。源文本介紹了作者在懷俄明州一邊親近自然一邊進(jìn)行大角羊野外考察的經(jīng)歷,再現(xiàn)了作者在大角羊?qū)嵉乜疾熘械那楦畜w驗(yàn)。源文本詞匯豐富,涉及大量的動(dòng)物學(xué)、生態(tài)學(xué)、微生物學(xué)、地質(zhì)學(xué)、人類學(xué)等學(xué)科詞匯,知識(shí)性強(qiáng),翻譯源文本具有深刻的研究意義。同時(shí),源文本集文學(xué)與研究為一體,語(yǔ)言嚴(yán)謹(jǐn),敘事通俗,筆調(diào)婉約,句子多用從句和修辭句,這對(duì)于提升譯者的翻譯水平有重要指導(dǎo)意義。本翻譯報(bào)告由四章構(gòu)成,第一章引言部分主要介紹源文本的內(nèi)容以及翻譯的意義;第二章主要從詞匯和句子的層面介紹源文本的文本特征,同時(shí)對(duì)尤金· A·奈達(dá)的功能對(duì)等翻譯理論和譯者所做的譯前工作準(zhǔn)備進(jìn)行說(shuō)明;第三章結(jié)合奈達(dá)的功能對(duì)等理論,運(yùn)用翻譯實(shí)例解讀譯者的翻譯過(guò)程,包括對(duì)專有名詞、人名地名、形容詞等詞語(yǔ)的翻譯,對(duì)多以介詞短語(yǔ)、分詞短語(yǔ)為插入成分的從句和修辭句等句子的翻譯;第四章是對(duì)譯者在翻譯過(guò)程中有待解決的問(wèn)題、所得到的啟發(fā)和獲得的經(jīng)驗(yàn)教訓(xùn)等進(jìn)行總結(jié)�！陡呱街狻肥且徊考膶W(xué)與研究為一體的優(yōu)秀作品,譯者結(jié)合尤金·A ·奈達(dá)的功能對(duì)等翻譯理論,力求在實(shí)踐中將源文本的文學(xué)性和知識(shí)性表達(dá)出來(lái)。通過(guò)本次翻譯實(shí)踐,譯者對(duì)跨學(xué)科知識(shí)有了進(jìn)一步認(rèn)識(shí),對(duì)奈達(dá)的功能對(duì)等翻譯理論有了更深的解讀,也進(jìn)一步提升了自身的翻譯水平,受益匪淺。
[Abstract]:This thesis is a English-to-Chinese translation report. "the Light in High places." Chapter 1-4. The source text introduces the author's field experience in Wyoming on a field tour of bighorn sheep while close to nature. The source text is rich in vocabulary, involving a large number of zoology, ecology, microbiology, geology, anthropology and other disciplines, knowledge. At the same time, the source text is a combination of literature and research, language is rigorous, narration is popular, the tone of writing is graceful, and sentences are mostly used clauses and rhetorical sentences. This report is composed of four chapters. The first chapter introduces the content of the source text and the significance of translation. The second chapter mainly introduces the text characteristics of the source text from the lexical and sentence levels, and explains Eugene A. Nida's functional equivalence translation theory and the pre-translation preparation of the translator. The third chapter uses Nida's functional equivalence theory to interpret the translator's translation process, including the translation of proper nouns, place names, adjectives and prepositional phrases. Participle phrases are the translation of clauses and rhetorical sentences with inserted elements. Chapter 4th is a summary of the problems that the translator has to solve in the process of translation, the inspiration and the lessons he has gained. The Light of the High Mountain is an excellent work that integrates literature and research. Combined with Eugene A. Nida's functional equivalence translation theory, the translator tries to express the literariness and knowledge of the source text in practice. Through this translation practice, the translator has a better understanding of the interdisciplinary knowledge. Nida's translation theory of functional equivalence has a deeper interpretation and has further improved its translation level.
