《我的教育之路》(節(jié)選)漢譯實(shí)踐報(bào)告

傳記文學(xué)以鮮明的人物形象,生動(dòng)的情節(jié)和優(yōu)美的語(yǔ)言吸引了廣泛的讀者群體。傳記文學(xué)漢譯可以幫助中國(guó)讀者了解英語(yǔ)國(guó)家文化背景、社會(huì)面貌,是中西方文化交流的橋梁。本文以美國(guó)作家塔拉·韋斯托弗的自傳體小說(shuō)《我的教育之路》漢譯為例,探討翻譯補(bǔ)償在傳記文學(xué)文本漢譯中的運(yùn)用。傳記文學(xué)翻譯要兼顧源語(yǔ)文本的“紀(jì)實(shí)性”和“文學(xué)性”,即翻譯要傳達(dá)出原文本的客觀事實(shí),又要重視其文化背景和文學(xué)價(jià)值。翻譯補(bǔ)償主張通過(guò)各種手段補(bǔ)償翻譯過(guò)程中造成的損失,確保譯文完整傳達(dá)源語(yǔ)信息、意義、文化因素和審美價(jià)值。由此看來(lái),翻譯補(bǔ)償對(duì)指導(dǎo)本次翻譯實(shí)踐具有可行性和適用性。本文描述了翻譯任務(wù)和翻譯實(shí)踐的過(guò)程,回顧了國(guó)內(nèi)外學(xué)者在翻譯補(bǔ)償方面的研究成果,從文化、交際、審美三個(gè)層面探討翻譯補(bǔ)償理論對(duì)本次實(shí)踐的指導(dǎo)。本文認(rèn)為,準(zhǔn)確把握翻譯補(bǔ)償理論,根據(jù)文本特征選用合適的補(bǔ)償策略,既可彌補(bǔ)兩種語(yǔ)言轉(zhuǎn)換造成的信息差,恢復(fù)原文與譯文、源語(yǔ)與目的語(yǔ)文化之間的均衡狀態(tài),還可以還原譯文的真實(shí)情境與情感,通過(guò)恰當(dāng)?shù)难a(bǔ)償,在翻譯中展現(xiàn)西方文化的藝術(shù)魅力。筆者希望本文能為傳記文學(xué)翻譯提供些許參考。
