生物學(xué)是研究生物的結(jié)構(gòu)、功能、發(fā)生和發(fā)展規(guī)律的科學(xué),包括細(xì)胞學(xué)、遺傳學(xué)、生理學(xué)和生態(tài)學(xué)等多門(mén)學(xué)科,具有交叉學(xué)科的特點(diǎn),其主要目的在于闡明和控制生命活動(dòng),改造自然,為工業(yè)、農(nóng)業(yè)和醫(yī)學(xué)等領(lǐng)域提供實(shí)踐服務(wù)。隨著現(xiàn)代科技的迅猛發(fā)展以及國(guó)際間生物技術(shù)領(lǐng)域交流的日益增強(qiáng),生物學(xué)類科技文本的翻譯也愈顯重要。吉迪恩·圖里（Gideon Toury）于上世紀(jì)六、七十年代提出了翻譯規(guī)范理論,其理論核心包括預(yù)備規(guī)范、初始規(guī)范和操作規(guī)范。該理論旨在從宏觀及微觀角度對(duì)原文和譯文進(jìn)行綜合性把控與考量,以便采取適宜的翻譯策略來(lái)傳遞源語(yǔ)文本信息,對(duì)重在信息傳播的生物學(xué)類科技文本的翻譯實(shí)踐具有指導(dǎo)意義。本翻譯實(shí)踐報(bào)告采用圖里的翻譯規(guī)范理論,以生物學(xué)英文著作What Can Nanechnology Learn From Biotechnology?為基礎(chǔ),從中選取由 Alan McHughen,Jeffrey Burkhardt和Margaret Mellon幾位作者撰寫(xiě)的第二部分共約17000詞作為研究對(duì)象。本報(bào)告主要包含以下三個(gè)方面:首先介紹翻譯任務(wù)的要求、意義以及翻譯過(guò)程;其次闡述翻譯規(guī)范理論的緣起、國(guó)內(nèi)外研究現(xiàn)...
