生物學是研究生物的結構、功能、發(fā)生和發(fā)展規(guī)律的科學,包括細胞學、遺傳學、生理學和生態(tài)學等多門學科,具有交叉學科的特點,其主要目的在于闡明和控制生命活動,改造自然,為工業(yè)、農業(yè)和醫(yī)學等領域提供實踐服務。隨著現代科技的迅猛發(fā)展以及國際間生物技術領域交流的日益增強,生物學類科技文本的翻譯也愈顯重要。吉迪恩·圖里（Gideon Toury）于上世紀六、七十年代提出了翻譯規(guī)范理論,其理論核心包括預備規(guī)范、初始規(guī)范和操作規(guī)范。該理論旨在從宏觀及微觀角度對原文和譯文進行綜合性把控與考量,以便采取適宜的翻譯策略來傳遞源語文本信息,對重在信息傳播的生物學類科技文本的翻譯實踐具有指導意義。本翻譯實踐報告采用圖里的翻譯規(guī)范理論,以生物學英文著作What Can Nanechnology Learn From Biotechnology?為基礎,從中選取由 Alan McHughen,Jeffrey Burkhardt和Margaret Mellon幾位作者撰寫的第二部分共約17000詞作為研究對象。本報告主要包含以下三個方面:首先介紹翻譯任務的要求、意義以及翻譯過程;其次闡述翻譯規(guī)范理論的緣起、國內外研究現...
