工程學與教育學英文期刊論文中自言和借言的對比研究

  在學術寫作研究中,引文和轉述一直是大家研究的熱門課題。如何引用別人的觀點以及準確表述自己的看法,即本文中所提借言和自言,對于新手作者來說是一大挑戰(zhàn)。本文著重研究了教育學和工程學期刊文章中“that”搭配詞的特點,旨在為新手作者在學術寫作中恰當運用借言和自言構建自己的立場提供一些參考。本研究從工程學和教育學2017年至2018年的國際英語學術期刊中(每個學科包含三種期刊),各選出母語為英語的學者發(fā)表的20篇論文,選取其摘要和正文部分,建立了兩個小型語料庫,語料庫的總字數為282,446。語料庫建好后,首先使用Word Smith 6.0檢索出“that”搭配詞及高頻搭配詞的頻次。其次,人工去除沒有轉述功能的“that”搭配詞,并根據其特征和功能,將其分為自言或借言。然后,對各類“that”搭配詞的頻次進行統(tǒng)計,再對其修辭功能、時態(tài)、句法結構、主語等進行研究分析。最后,對兩種學科語料庫中的各項數據進行對比分析以找出相同和不同之處。研究結果表明,“that”搭配詞主要以轉述動詞為主,此外還包括系動詞、介詞、名詞等。自言和借言中共用的高頻搭配詞為suggest,indicate,find,no...
