本論文是一篇漢譯英翻譯實(shí)踐報(bào)告,翻譯文本選自《中國(guó)進(jìn)入世界舞臺(tái)中心》。該作品是一本關(guān)于“中國(guó)與世界”的政治類著作,其作者是中國(guó)國(guó)情研究領(lǐng)軍人物胡鞍鋼教授。該著作主要介紹了新中國(guó)成立以來(lái)中國(guó)取得的成就和在世界舞臺(tái)上不斷演變的角色和身份。對(duì)該文本的翻譯,有助于外國(guó)讀者了解中國(guó)的發(fā)展和政治理念,向世界人們展現(xiàn)中國(guó)形象。通過(guò)翻譯該著作的一至十章,筆者撰寫(xiě)了此實(shí)踐報(bào)告。在介紹翻譯項(xiàng)目的背景和意義、論文結(jié)構(gòu)及翻譯過(guò)程的基礎(chǔ)上,本篇實(shí)踐報(bào)告重點(diǎn)分析了翻譯過(guò)程中遇到的翻譯難點(diǎn)及對(duì)應(yīng)的翻譯方法和策略。翻譯難點(diǎn)主要體現(xiàn)在詞匯、句法和篇章三個(gè)層面上。在詞匯層面,筆者采用直譯法翻譯中國(guó)特色詞匯,更好地保留了原文本的特色;在成語(yǔ)的翻譯上,采用了意譯的翻譯方法,準(zhǔn)確表達(dá)原文含義;對(duì)于重復(fù)詞的現(xiàn)象,筆者則采用了省略的方法進(jìn)行翻譯。在句法方面,對(duì)于一些復(fù)雜長(zhǎng)難句的翻譯,筆者采用了句式重構(gòu)的方法,以符合英文的表達(dá)習(xí)慣;由于中英文之間的差異,對(duì)于原文本中的漢語(yǔ)無(wú)主語(yǔ)句,筆者采用增補(bǔ)的方法將其翻譯為完整的句子;在古詩(shī)文和名言諺語(yǔ)的翻譯上,筆者采用了加注的方法,有助于讀者更好地理解譯文。在篇章方面,對(duì)于銜接與連貫的翻譯難點(diǎn),...
