中國英語專業(yè)碩博學位論文中的批評特征研究

學術(shù)批評是學術(shù)研究與學術(shù)寫作的本質(zhì)特征之一。在本研究中,它特指學術(shù)寫作者對現(xiàn)有研究一個或多個方面的負面評價。雖然當前已有不少學術(shù)批評方面的研究,但是大多只關(guān)注學術(shù)批評的策略維度。此外,關(guān)于中國英語專業(yè)研究生學術(shù)寫作中的批評特征,仍有待探索。因此,本研究試圖探討中國英語專業(yè)碩博研究生學位論文的總體批評特征,各自批評特征,以及碩博學位論文之間批評特征的不同之處。本文對陳新仁(2017)提出的分析框架略作修改從而將批評對象、批評內(nèi)容、批評強度、批評策略整合到一個框架中,從中國知網(wǎng)隨機抽取30篇碩士論文和30篇博士論文,主要采用基于語料庫的定量研究方法,并輔以對批評特征的定性分析來考察中國英語專業(yè)研究生學位論文的批評特征。研究發(fā)現(xiàn):首先,總體批評特征如下:在批評對象維度,對他人研究的批評占主導地位,這說明碩博研究生能夠?qū)⒆陨硌芯颗c他人研究相關(guān)聯(lián),通過對他人研究的批評建立自己的研究空間。在批評內(nèi)容維度,碩博研究生能較全面地對研究的各方面內(nèi)容展開學術(shù)批評。在批評強度維度,碩博研究生傾向于中性和弱化的語氣,這說明碩博研究生在批評過程中展現(xiàn)出客觀、謹慎的特點。在批評策略維度,緩和面子威脅型策略比非緩和...
