重疊作為漢語里一種能產(chǎn)的形態(tài)手段,其形式往往與特定的語法或語義功能相聯(lián)系。此種形義結合的特點與Goldberg的構式思想相契合。本文選取現(xiàn)代漢語中AA與AABB兩種常見的重疊形式,并從構式形態(tài)學和認知角度探討了以下問題:首先,大量研究已經(jīng)針對AA式重疊的語義功能做了詳細的描述,然而卻很少探求其背后的認知動因。同時,不同詞類的AA式重疊呈現(xiàn)出不同語義功能,這些語義功能之間是否存在關聯(lián)?另外,AA式重疊在形式上與漢語中的并列復合詞和英語里的詞綴具有相似性,可否將它們視作為同一形態(tài)構式的不同變體?其次,對于AABB式重疊,很多AABB式重疊的兩個構成成分在語義上具有相關性,那么,這種相關性是否可以從構式的角度進行解釋?本研究的語料來源于《現(xiàn)代漢語詞典》(第七版)和《成語大詞典》(最新修訂版),研究方法采用歸納法與對比法。首先,對詞典里的AA式和AABB式重疊搜集并分類,從構式形態(tài)學的角度對其進行描寫。然后運用意象圖式展示AA式重疊不同語義功能之間的聯(lián)系,并將其與漢語并列復合詞與英語詞綴進行對比;最后,對AABB式重疊進行構式分析,描述其產(chǎn)生所經(jīng)歷的形態(tài)操作和構式化過程。本研究有以下發(fā)現(xiàn):AA式重疊的三種主要語義功能為增強描寫功能,遍指功能和指小功能。其中,增強描寫功能是原型功能,它與遍指功能和指小功能的聯(lián)系可以通過意象圖式的轉化來呈現(xiàn),擬聲詞對于AA式重疊的出現(xiàn)有很大影響。同時,AA式重疊與并列復合詞以及詞綴屬于不同的形態(tài)構式,具有不同的認知基礎。AABB式重疊的產(chǎn)生是漢語重疊構式與并列復合構式共同作用的結果;它起源于AA與BB的疊加,并逐步構式化;進入到AABB構式的構件其本身的詞性與語義受到重疊與并列復合兩層構式的壓制作用。本研究是應用構式思想在漢語形態(tài)分析上的嘗試,也是從認知角度對于漢語重疊進行解釋的補充。
