【摘要】：源文本節(jié)選自特德·科佩爾的著作《斷電》(Lights Out)。本書探討了現(xiàn)代戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)中黑客發(fā)動(dòng)網(wǎng)絡(luò)攻擊破壞國家電網(wǎng)所導(dǎo)致的災(zāi)難性后果,以及部分美國人為應(yīng)對(duì)災(zāi)難所做的準(zhǔn)備。在科技發(fā)展日新月異的今天,特德·科佩爾以其獨(dú)到的視角與生動(dòng)的闡述,引發(fā)人們對(duì)于過度依賴電氣設(shè)備的思考。目前為止,尚未發(fā)現(xiàn)有中文譯本出版。本翻譯項(xiàng)目選取了該書的第一至六章,源文本總計(jì)一萬六千余字。該部分集中描寫大面積斷電的可怕后果,作者特德·科佩爾通過采訪軍方、政府、電力系統(tǒng),以及保險(xiǎn)行業(yè)的專家,詳細(xì)論述了電力系統(tǒng)的脆弱性,及其面對(duì)的威脅。本文詳細(xì)闡述了如何對(duì)所選材料中的題目、直接引語進(jìn)行翻譯,平行文本的使用,以及在翻譯過程中采用的翻譯方法,包括順句操作、句式重構(gòu)、語義引申和詞類轉(zhuǎn)換。在翻譯過程中,譯者將所學(xué)知識(shí)運(yùn)用于實(shí)踐,并充分利用網(wǎng)絡(luò)搜索平行文本與背景信息,確保準(zhǔn)確的翻譯。通過本翻譯項(xiàng)目,譯者認(rèn)識(shí)到了自己的不足之處。在未來的工作與生活中,譯者將注重各領(lǐng)域知識(shí)的積累,同時(shí)努力提高英漢雙語能力。
[Abstract]:Source text excerpted from Ted Koppel's book, "Power outages." (Lights Out). The book explores the catastrophic consequences of cyber attacks in modern warfare and the preparedness of some Americans to deal with them. With the rapid development of science and technology, Ted Koppel, with his unique visual angle and vivid elaboration, causes people to think about over-reliance on electrical equipment. So far, no Chinese translation has been found. This translation project selects the first to sixth chapters of the book, with a total of more than 16000 words in the source text. This part focuses on describing the terrible consequences of large-scale power outages. The author, through interviews with experts in the military, government, power system and insurance industry, discusses in detail the fragility of the power system and the threats it faces. This paper describes in detail how to translate the selected topics, direct quotations, the use of parallel texts, and the translation methods used in the translation process, including sentence operation, sentence reconstruction, semantic extension and part of speech conversion. In the process of translation, the translator applies what he has learned to practice, and makes full use of the network to search for parallel texts and background information to ensure accurate translation. Through this translation project, translators realize their own shortcomings. In the future work and life, translators will pay attention to the accumulation of knowledge in various fields and strive to improve English and Chinese bilingualism.
