中英交替?zhèn)髯g中筆記“脫離語言外殼”的程度對譯文質(zhì)量的影響

【摘要】:本篇論文旨在結(jié)合理論分析和實(shí)證研究,探討筆記"脫離語言外殼"技巧的運(yùn)用程度對于中英交替?zhèn)髯g質(zhì)量的影響,為譯員在筆記記錄和今后的研究方向方面提供借鑒。本文首先對全文進(jìn)行概述,然后介紹了國內(nèi)外關(guān)于筆記和"脫離語言外殼"的相關(guān)研究成果。本文以Setton和Motta對"脫離語言外殼"方法的分類,劉敏華的《逐步口譯與筆記》中說明的筆記方法和巴黎釋意理論中"脫離語言外殼"技巧為理論基礎(chǔ)。"脫離語言外殼"分類方法分為四大類,下文將根據(jù)分類分析譯員筆記和譯文。巴黎釋意學(xué)派首先提出"脫離語言外殼"的觀點(diǎn),譯員運(yùn)用該技巧能夠更好地在忠實(shí)于原文的原則之下,擺脫原文束縛,把握原文意義,從而提高譯文質(zhì)量。然而該技巧不僅僅體現(xiàn)在譯文中。劉敏華在《逐步口譯與筆記》中提到,由于"語言外殼"束縛也會導(dǎo)致筆記邏輯不清,原文理解不當(dāng)?shù)葐栴},所以在筆記中也需要積極運(yùn)用"脫離語言外殼"的技巧。在理論介紹之后,本文將通過實(shí)證研究,根據(jù)已有的譯文質(zhì)量評估標(biāo)準(zhǔn)和"脫離語言外殼"方法的分類,對實(shí)驗(yàn)結(jié)果進(jìn)行分析,探討筆記"脫離語言外殼"技巧的運(yùn)用程度對于中英交替?zhèn)髯g質(zhì)量的影響。實(shí)驗(yàn)材料選用巴基斯坦國立科技大學(xué)教授澤米爾-阿萬的演講"如何培養(yǎng)創(chuàng)新創(chuàng)業(yè)人才",實(shí)驗(yàn)對象是北京外國語大學(xué)高級翻譯學(xué)院二年級已經(jīng)接受兩個學(xué)期中英交替?zhèn)髯g練習(xí)的8名學(xué)生。實(shí)驗(yàn)得出結(jié)論:在筆記記錄過程中積極有效地運(yùn)用"脫離語言外殼"的技巧,能夠提高中英交替?zhèn)髯g的譯文質(zhì)量。
[Abstract]:Based on theoretical analysis and empirical research, this thesis aims to explore the impact of the use of note-taking techniques on the quality of Chinese and English consecutive interpretation, and to provide a reference for interpreters in the field of note-taking and research direction in the future. This paper first summarizes the full text, and then introduces the domestic and foreign related research results on notes and "off the shell of language". This paper is based on Setton and Motta's classification of the method of "disengaging from the shell of language", the note-taking method explained by Liu Minhua in "Stepwise interpretation and Notes" and the technique of "disengaging from the Shell" in the Paris interpretation Theory. " The classification method is divided into four main categories, and the translator's notes and translations are analyzed according to the classification below. The Paris School of interpretation first put forward the idea of "leaving the language shell". The interpreter can use this technique to get rid of the bondage of the original text, grasp the meaning of the original text, and improve the quality of the translated text under the principle of faithfulness to the original text. However, this technique is not only reflected in the translation. Liu Minhua mentioned in "gradual interpretation and Notes" that due to the "language shell" bondage will also lead to the indistinct logic of the notes and improper understanding of the original text, it is also necessary to actively use the technique of "disengaging from the language shell" in the notes. After the introduction of the theory, this paper will analyze the experimental results according to the existing translation quality evaluation criteria and the classification of the method of "leaving the language shell" through empirical research. This paper explores the influence of the use of note-taking off the language shell on the quality of Chinese-English consecutive interpretation. The experimental materials were selected from a speech by Zemir Awan, a professor at the National University of Science and Technology of Pakistan, on "how to cultivate innovative and entrepreneurial talents". The subjects of the experiment were the sophomore of Beijing Foreign Studies University's Advanced Translation School, who had accepted two semesters of English and Chinese. Eight students practicing consecutive interpretation. The experiment concludes that the effective use of the technique of "leaving the language shell" in the process of note-taking can improve the translation quality of Chinese and English consecutive interpretation.
