【摘要】：喬納森.斯威夫特是英國文學(xué)史上最杰出也是最受爭議的作家。他不僅為同時期的文學(xué)發(fā)展做出了杰出的貢獻,同時他的散文風(fēng)格也被認(rèn)為是文學(xué)典范。斯威夫特一生創(chuàng)作了許多諷刺作品和政治宣傳冊,早期還創(chuàng)作了一些詩歌。斯威夫特生活在一個極其復(fù)雜的時代,當(dāng)時的歐洲正處于文化轉(zhuǎn)型時期,英國的政治形勢也極其多變。正如復(fù)雜的時代一樣,斯威夫特自身也是一個復(fù)雜的集合體。斯威夫特最為人熟知的代表作便是《格列佛游記》。該小說前兩部分對小人國的小矮人和大人國巨人的描寫,使得這本書被一些讀者認(rèn)為是兒童讀物,也有一部分學(xué)者看到了這本書中對時政的諷刺,從而把這部作品看做是一部諷刺作品。然而,《格列佛游記》的深刻寓意,遠(yuǎn)非僅僅是一部童話故事或諷刺作品這么簡單。自《格列佛游記》出版以來,對這部作品的研究便汗牛充棟,然而對于這部作品的主題的探究迄今為止仍莫衷一是。本文以陌生化理論為基本框架,主要分析了其在人物塑造,語言表達,以及敘事視角三個方面的陌生化,試圖探究斯威夫特在《格列佛游記》中運用陌生化策略的目的和意義。本文主要包括三個部分。導(dǎo)言部分包括喬納森.斯威夫特和《格列佛游記》的介紹,文獻綜述和理論聯(lián)系。第二部分是論文的主體部分,共三章。第一章從人物的陌生化方面分析了故事中陌生化的人物形象所影射的對象以及所暗含的諷刺意義。第二章,從語言和修辭方面探究了格列佛游記中陌生另類的語言,以及陌生化語言在批判和諷刺時政方面所起到的不一樣的效果。第三章分析了《格列佛游記》中的陌生化敘事策略,主要探究了文中多變的敘事視角以及作者這樣做的目的。最后一部分是總結(jié):《格列佛游記》以十八世紀(jì)英國的社會現(xiàn)實為藍(lán)本,特塑造了小人國、大人國、飛島國和慧殐國幾個奇異的國度,在嬉笑怒罵的文字背后蘊含著深刻地政治批判。陌生化手法的運用使作者的政治觀點和思想在文中的表達效果更高效,更深刻。
[Abstract]:Jonathan Swift is the most outstanding and controversial writer in the history of English literature. He not only made outstanding contributions to the development of literature in the same period, but also regarded his prose style as a literary model. Swift wrote many satirical works and political brochures in her life, as well as some early poems. Swift lived in an extremely complicated time, when Europe was in a period of cultural transformation and Britain's political situation was extremely volatile. As with the complex times, Swift is a complex collection of its own. Swift's best-known masterpiece is Gulliver's travels. The first two parts of the novel depict the dwarves of Lilliputian and the giant of the adult kingdom, making the book considered by some readers to be children's books, and some scholars see the satire of the current politics in the book. So that this work is regarded as a satire. However, the profound moral of Gulliver's travels is much more than a fairy tale or satire. Since the publication of Gulliver's Journey, there has been a great deal of research on the subject of this work. Based on the theory of defamiliarization, this paper mainly analyzes the defamiliarization in the aspects of character shaping, language expression and narrative angle of view, and tries to explore the purpose and significance of Swift's application of defamiliarization strategy in Gulliver's travels. This paper mainly includes three parts. The introduction includes Jonathan. Introduction to Swift and Gulliver's travels, literature review and theoretical connections. The second part is the main part of the paper, there are three chapters. The first chapter analyzes the object and irony implied by the defamiliarization of the characters in the story from the aspect of defamiliarization. The second chapter explores the strange and alternative language in Gulliver's travels and the different effects of strange language in criticizing and satirizing the current politics from the aspect of language and rhetoric. The third chapter analyzes the strangeness narrative strategy in Gulliver's travels, mainly explores the changeable narrative perspective and the author's purpose. The last part is a summary: Gulliver's travels, based on the social realities of the 18th century, have shaped the Lilliputian, the Lord, the Flying Island and the Huiguo. There is a profound political critique behind the words of frolicking and cursing. The application of defamiliarization makes the author's political views and ideas express more efficiently and deeply in the text.
