【摘要】：本項(xiàng)目選自小喬爾·K·伯恩(Joel K.Bourne Jr.)于2015年出版的《富足的終結(jié):努力養(yǎng)活更多人口》(The End of Plenty:The Race to Feed a Crowded World),該書主要講述了全球各時(shí)期的糧食問(wèn)題以及人們應(yīng)對(duì)糧食危機(jī)所采取的措施,并結(jié)合具體例子進(jìn)行分析。譯者選取了前三章進(jìn)行翻譯。該部分主要講述了人口、自然災(zāi)害及政府政策是造成饑荒的原因,以及各國(guó)應(yīng)對(duì)饑荒的努力與嘗試。翻譯該書,通過(guò)書中真實(shí)的數(shù)據(jù)及例子,讓人們意識(shí)到糧食問(wèn)題的嚴(yán)重性。本報(bào)告主要闡述了譯者對(duì)原文的分析與理解以及翻譯的過(guò)程。首先,原文在遣詞造句上有自己獨(dú)特的特點(diǎn),文中出現(xiàn)了大量人名、地名以及著作的名稱,譯者通過(guò)查閱相關(guān)專業(yè)字典及網(wǎng)絡(luò)資料,找到對(duì)應(yīng)的約定俗成的中文翻譯。同時(shí)文中涉及到一些專業(yè)領(lǐng)域的描寫,譯者閱讀了相關(guān)的中文文本,使翻譯盡量準(zhǔn)確。其次,文中長(zhǎng)難句居多,但也摻雜著一些短句,同時(shí)有一些常見的詞,其意思需結(jié)合具體語(yǔ)境分析,譯者在案例分析這一章中重點(diǎn)分析了這幾點(diǎn),主要采用了增譯、刪減、詞性轉(zhuǎn)換、重組等多種技巧,以求譯文盡量貼合目標(biāo)語(yǔ)的使用習(xí)慣。通過(guò)對(duì)此次翻譯項(xiàng)目的分析,譯者得出了以下結(jié)論:1.在翻譯人名、地名以及專業(yè)詞匯時(shí),要盡可能查找相關(guān)資料,對(duì)比平行文本,盡力做到準(zhǔn)確,同時(shí),了解相關(guān)專業(yè)知識(shí)和背景信息對(duì)理解原文和準(zhǔn)確翻譯也有著至關(guān)重要的作用;2.在翻譯一些常見的詞匯時(shí),不要拘泥于其字面意思,應(yīng)結(jié)合語(yǔ)境分析,靈活處理,使譯文更加地道、準(zhǔn)確;3.在處理句子翻譯時(shí),對(duì)于簡(jiǎn)單句,應(yīng)弄清前后邏輯關(guān)系,而翻譯長(zhǎng)難句時(shí),應(yīng)分析句子結(jié)構(gòu),綜合運(yùn)用增譯、刪減、詞性轉(zhuǎn)換、拆分重組等多種翻譯技巧進(jìn)行處理。
[Abstract]:Joel K.Bourne Jr.The End of Plenty:The Race to Feed a Crowded World, published in 2015, focuses on food problems and the measures people have taken to deal with the food crisis in all periods of the world, and analyzes them with concrete examples.The translator selects the first three chapters for translation.This part mainly describes the population, natural disasters and government policies are the causes of famine, as well as national efforts and attempts to deal with famine.The translation of the book, through the book's true data and examples, to make people aware of the seriousness of the food problem.This report focuses on the translator's analysis and understanding of the original text and the process of translation.First of all, the original text has its own unique characteristics in the construction of words and sentences. There are a large number of names, place names and the names of works in the text. The translator finds the corresponding Chinese translation by consulting relevant professional dictionaries and network materials.At the same time, the translator has read the relevant Chinese text to make the translation as accurate as possible.Secondly, there are many long and difficult sentences in the text, but there are also some short sentences. At the same time, there are some common words whose meanings need to be combined with specific context analysis. In the chapter of case study, the translator focuses on these points, mainly by adding translation, deleting and deleting.Part of speech conversion, reorganization and other techniques in order to fit the target language as much as possible.Through the analysis of this translation project, the translator draws the following conclusion: 1.When translating people's names, place names and professional vocabulary, try to find relevant information, compare parallel texts, and try to be accurate, at the same time,Knowledge of relevant expertise and background information is also crucial to understanding the original text and accurate translation.In translating some common words, do not stick to their literal meaning, should be combined with contextual analysis, flexible processing, so that the translation is more accurate and accurate.In the process of sentence translation, it is necessary to make clear the logical relationship between the simple sentence and the long difficult sentence, and to analyze the sentence structure, and to deal with the sentence structure by comprehensive use of translation techniques, such as adding, deleting, part of speech conversion, splitting and reorganizing, and so on.
