【摘要】：本論文是一篇翻譯實(shí)踐報(bào)告。大衛(wèi)·吉爾默(David Gilmour)的作品《追溯意大利:國土、區(qū)域和民族的歷史》是本報(bào)告的翻譯文本。該作品于2012年出版,目前尚無中文譯本。這也是筆者選擇該作品作為翻譯文本的原因之一。吉爾默是英國著名的史學(xué)家和傳記家。他的作品《追溯意大利:國土、區(qū)域和民族的歷史》是一部關(guān)于意大利的歷史,是講述意大利光輝的歷史絕不僅是由于統(tǒng)一,而是它的多民族以及地域所使。該作品反映了意大利的歷史變遷、以及多元化的民族特征,對人們了解意大利文化、歷史和地理有著很重要的作用。筆者在翻譯文本中的一些地理專業(yè)術(shù)語,意大利特色文化負(fù)載詞,意大利詞匯,以及一些帶有破折號的句子和長難句時遇到了一些困難。地理專業(yè)術(shù)語和意大利特色文化負(fù)載詞以及意大利語言使筆者不知所云,帶有破折號的句子和一些長難句讓讀者在分析句子的邏輯關(guān)系和修飾所指時遇到一些問題,因此,筆者需要花費(fèi)時間仔細(xì)推敲句中的修飾關(guān)系,從而正確的將句子以符合漢語表達(dá)習(xí)慣的方式闡述出來。在閱讀平行文本,查閱相關(guān)資料,反復(fù)閱讀原文本的基礎(chǔ)上,譯者采用了腳注法,查閱相關(guān)詞典,語義引申方法對原文本中的詞匯進(jìn)行翻譯。同時對長難句采用了語態(tài)轉(zhuǎn)換和語序調(diào)整的翻譯方法,針對破折號的翻譯采取了零轉(zhuǎn)換和替代的方法。通過此次翻譯實(shí)踐,筆者總結(jié)出:掌握大量相關(guān)的背景知識以及廣泛查閱資料是很必要的。同時,要依據(jù)具體的翻譯問題采取相應(yīng)的翻譯策略。筆者也認(rèn)識到在翻譯過程中還存在著許多不足,如譯文質(zhì)量有待提高,表達(dá)和選詞不地道。但此次翻譯實(shí)踐不僅為國內(nèi)讀者介紹了意大利的文化,同時也提高了筆者自身的翻譯水平。
[Abstract]:This paper is a translation practice report. David Gilmour. by David Gilmour. "back to Italy: land." "History of regions and nationalities." A translation of the present report. The work was published in 2012. At present, there is no Chinese translation. This is one of the reasons why the author chose this work as the translated text. Gilmer is a famous historian and biographer in England. "the History of regions and Nations" is a history about Italy, which tells the glorious history of Italy not only because of unity, but also because of its multi-nationality and region. This work reflects the historical changes of Italy. The diversity of national characteristics plays an important role in understanding Italian culture, history and geography. Italian vocabulary, as well as some sentences with dashes and long difficult sentences encountered some difficulties. Geographical technical terms and Italian culture-loaded words, as well as Italian language, I do not know. Sentences with dashes and some long difficult sentences make the reader encounter some problems in analyzing the logical relations and modifiers of the sentences. Therefore, the author needs to spend time to carefully scrutinize the modifiers in the sentences. On the basis of reading parallel texts, consulting relevant materials and reading the original text repeatedly, the translator adopts footnote method to consult relevant dictionaries. The semantic extension method is used to translate the words in the original text, and the long difficult sentences are translated by the method of voice conversion and word order adjustment. Through this translation practice, the author concludes that it is necessary to have a large amount of relevant background knowledge and extensive access to information. It is necessary to adopt corresponding translation strategies according to specific translation problems. The author also recognizes that there are still many shortcomings in the translation process, such as the need to improve the quality of the translation. However, this translation practice not only introduces the Italian culture to the domestic readers, but also improves the translation level of the author himself.
