【摘要】：蒙古遠征軍事史一直是國內外學術界的研究熱點。《蒙古人的戰(zhàn)爭藝術》(2007)—書是美國著名學者Timothy May教授的一部學術專著。該著寫作視角獨特,研究資料豐富,系統(tǒng)地研究了蒙古帝國時期的軍事藝術史,具體包括征兵、訓練、武器裝備、后勤供應、戰(zhàn)略戰(zhàn)術、領導策略、歷史戰(zhàn)役和軍事遺產等內容。該著在海外影響力非常高,受到學界的好評。本文的論文形式為翻譯實踐報告,選取了該著中兩章(第二章至第三章)進行英譯漢翻譯實踐。所選部分內容主要為蒙古軍隊的招募組織、蒙古士兵的訓練和裝備。由于原文本為軍事史學著作,文本中出現(xiàn)大量軍事專業(yè)術語和相關注釋,語言使用正式、嚴謹,并且有一定的難度。在整個翻譯過程中,翻譯難點突顯為三個方面:蒙古軍事術語漢譯、原文注釋的準確理解和翻譯、史學著作漢譯文體風格的整體展現(xiàn)。本文采用關聯(lián)理論來試圖解決翻譯難點,譯者需結合具體語境,尋找最佳關聯(lián),可以使譯入語讀者以最小的努力獲得最大的語境效果。具體來說,本翻譯報告采用以下四類方法來解決翻譯難點問題:(1)針對譯入語讀者陌生的蒙古軍事武器,漢譯文中插入相應圖片,從視覺角度輔助讀者理解原文信息;(2)采取音譯、意譯、增譯、省譯以及句式重組等翻譯方法;(3)借助參閱平行文本的方法來客觀、完整、準確地翻譯原文中的大量注釋;(4)通過符合譯入語表達習慣的措辭和造句,譯文基本可體現(xiàn)出簡潔、流暢的史學文本風格。
[Abstract]:Mongolia expeditionary military history has been the research hotspot in academic circles at home and abroad. The writing of data rich, unique perspective, systematic study of the Mongolia Imperial military art history, including recruitment, training, weapons and equipment, logistics, strategy and tactics, leadership strategies, historical battles and Military Heritage etc. in the overseas influence is very high, attracted praise. This paper for the translation practice report, selected the two chapter (chapter second to chapter third) for the English Chinese translation practice the selected part. As the main content of the Mongolia army recruiting organization, Mongolia soldiers training and equipment. Because of the military history works, a large number of military terminology and related notes appear in the text, the use of formal language, Rigorous, and have a certain degree of difficulty. In the process of translation, translation difficulties highlighted three aspects: translation of Mongolia military terminology, accurate understanding and translation of the original notes, the whole show history book translation style. This paper uses the relevance theory to solve the difficulties in translation, the translator should be combined with the specific context, looking for the best Association, can make the target readers with minimal effort to get the greatest contextual effect. Specifically, this report adopts the following four kinds of methods to solve the difficult problems of Translation: (1) according to the TL readers of Mongolia military weapons strange, inserted into the corresponding picture of Chinese translation, from the visual angle of assisting readers understand the original information; (2) transliteration, free translation, amplification, omission and restructuring of sentence translation methods; (3) by means of parallel text to refer to the objective, complete and accurate translation of the original turn a lot of notes; (4) by In conformity with the wording and sentence making of the idiomatic expression habit, the translation is basically a concise and fluent style of historical text.
