【摘要】：在多元文化不斷發(fā)展與融合的今天,我們需要深化彼此間的了解,提升跨文化交際的能力。在這種情況下,文學(xué)作品,特別是那些充滿文化元素的作品,廣義來講能夠成為不同國家之間溝通的橋梁。本文是一篇翻譯實踐報告,所翻譯的文本選自印度作家瑪度·巴賈杰·旺古(Madhu Bazaz Wangu)于2016年2月出版的首部小說——《移民妻子的精神之旅》(The Immigrant Wife:Her Spiritual Journey)。小說主要講述了主人公山提通過與傳統(tǒng)價值觀的抗?fàn)?最終實現(xiàn)了自己藝術(shù)夢想的勵志故事。該翻譯項目主要是針對小說的第一部分,即第一章至第六章的翻譯中所運用到的方法。在翻譯過程中,譯者在詞、句和修辭方面遇到了困難。為了解決詞的翻譯困難,譯者使用了音譯法和移譯法。對于文化負載詞的翻譯采用了加注的方法,以彌補目的語讀者的文化缺失。句的翻譯方面使用了增譯法和分譯法,有利于目的語讀者在閱讀過程中感受譯文的連貫、明確以及自然。此外,修辭的翻譯經(jīng)常使用到的是直譯法以及替代法。該小說的翻譯能夠擴寬目的語讀者的視野,讓他們了解印度的文化。在文學(xué)文本的翻譯方面,譯者希望將相應(yīng)的翻譯策略與方法進行具體的運用。除此之外,譯者期待能激發(fā)讀者的好奇心,讓更多的人加入到印度文化的研究中去。
[Abstract]:With the continuous development and integration of multiculturalism, we need to deepen our understanding of each other and enhance the ability of intercultural communication. In this case, literary works, especially those full of cultural elements, can be a bridge of communication between different countries in a broad sense. This is a translation practice report. The translated text is selected from the first novel published by Madhu Bajaj Vangu, Madhu (Bazaz Wangu) in India in February 2016. It's The Immigrant Wife:Her Spiritual Journey. The novel mainly narrates the inspirational story of the hero Shan Tian, who has finally realized his own artistic dream through the struggle against the traditional values. The translation project is mainly aimed at the method used in the first part of the novel, the first to the sixth chapters. In the process of translation, the translator has encountered difficulties in terms of words, sentences and rhetoric. In order to solve the difficulties of translation, translators use transliteration and translation method. In order to make up for the cultural loss of the target language readers, the translation of the culture loaded words is adopted. The translation of sentences uses both the increasing and the sub translation methods, which will help the target readers to feel the coherence, clarity and nature of the translation in the process of reading. In addition, the translation of rhetoric is often used in literal translation and substitution. The translation of the novel can broaden the view of the target language readers and let them understand the culture of India. In the translation of literary texts, the translator wants to make specific use of the corresponding translation strategies and methods. In addition, the translator expects to arouse the curiosity of the readers and let more people join in the study of India culture.
