從現(xiàn)代政治理論的角度來說,性別最重要的層面就是“性別政治”。性別政治的實質(zhì)就是權(quán)力關(guān)系。然而,不論是性別壓迫,或是反抗,都以權(quán)力為手段,以身體為場域而展開。權(quán)力與身體結(jié)合,使身體具有政治屬性。性別政治涉及到權(quán)力的交互、較量和流動。身體作為呈現(xiàn)權(quán)力斗爭、協(xié)商的最好媒介,也是解讀歷史和追尋自我的場所和領(lǐng)域。莫里森的小說以身體為媒介,揭示出非裔美國人的政治遭遇及小說家的政治思考�？v觀其小說文本,總是充斥著殘缺的、被打上烙印的、病態(tài)的、以及被妖魔化的非裔美國人的身體形態(tài)。這些不同形態(tài)的身體都與性別政治密切相關(guān)。身體是莫里森在思考性別問題和種族問題時關(guān)鍵媒介,也是研究莫里森小說不能忽視的重要問題�，F(xiàn)有的莫里森小說研究雖然對性別政治和身體這兩個維度都有所涉及,但均未進行系統(tǒng)、深入的研究。這些成果在涉及到莫氏小說中的性別政治問題時,往往局限于單部小說或者單一視角。比如,有學(xué)者認(rèn)為小說《愛》聚焦于黑人族群內(nèi)部的性別爭端,披露父權(quán)制、反抗男權(quán),爭取女性權(quán)益;另有學(xué)者從審美角度出發(fā)討論莫氏小說中的身體問題。然而,迄今為止,尚無學(xué)者從性別政治角度對其作品中的身體進行較為全面系統(tǒng)的解讀。本文借鑒性別理論和身體...
