后世俗主義是發(fā)祥于西方后現(xiàn)代哲學(xué),并首先應(yīng)用于西方社會學(xué)研究的一套新興理論話語。本論文以回顧與總結(jié)后世俗主義理論話語的發(fā)展歷史與主要觀點為出發(fā)點,試圖對散現(xiàn)于西方哲學(xué)與社會學(xué)領(lǐng)域內(nèi)的相關(guān)話語作一次后世俗指向的系統(tǒng)整理,從而形成一個利于對西方文學(xué),尤其是美國文學(xué)進行全新批評的后世俗主義構(gòu)架。在此前提下,本論文選取美國當(dāng)代最重要小說家之一的唐·德里羅作為研究對象,針對其16部長篇小說中的10部代表作品展開后世俗主義批評實踐,以期呈現(xiàn)貫穿德里羅數(shù)十年小說創(chuàng)作的后世俗寓意,并揭示德里羅作品對后世俗主義新話語的各種啟迪與豐富作用,由此對創(chuàng)造性的文學(xué)與理論性的學(xué)術(shù)話語之間的有機互動作出新一輪檢釋。后世俗主義,由尤爾根·哈貝馬斯命名,代表了西方尤其是德國學(xué)人對啟蒙理性的反思傳統(tǒng)。在親見"二戰(zhàn)"、"古巴導(dǎo)彈危機"、"切爾諾貝利"以及"9/11"等勾勒了人類歷史長卷中啟示錄般畫面的災(zāi)難之后,西方哲學(xué)與社會學(xué)界推進了對純理性主義及其衍生物——世俗主義的修正式反省。越來越多的西方學(xué)者更深地認(rèn)識到,由理性占據(jù)并主導(dǎo)的世俗化西方社會,因久處邊緣的宗教信仰的式微,陷入根自妄自尊大心理的控制欲深淵,從而對自然及自身...
