【摘要】：八部大王又稱八部大神,是居住在酉水沿岸的土家人公認的祖先神之一,其原型可以追溯至較早時期的部落英雄。有關(guān)傳說在漫長的時光中被完善,且局限于湘西境內(nèi)土家族的居住區(qū)域,并以龍山、保靖、永順等縣為核心區(qū)域。其傳承的顯耀程度,與土家人居住的密度成正比。在傳承的核心地區(qū),其神廟更是鼎盛一時,比比皆是。八部大王的傳說不僅有單純的民族性,而且還具有區(qū)域社會性,因為在此區(qū)域界線之外,即便是同一民族也無法將此傳說內(nèi)化成自我族群的歷史記憶。而生活在傳播區(qū)域內(nèi)的人們,則出于日常知識與交往的需要,通過這一傳說而強化了族群身份的認同意識。
[Abstract]:The eight-part king, also known as the eight-part great god, is one of the recognized ancestor gods of the Tujia people living along the coast of Youshui, whose archetypes can be traced back to the earlier tribal heroes. The legends have been perfected over a long period of time, and are limited to the inhabited areas of Tujia nationality in the west of Hunan Province, with Longshan, Baojing, Yongshun counties as the core areas. The degree of prominence of its inheritance is proportional to the density of the Tujia people. In the core of the heritage, its temple is even more prosperous for a time, everywhere. The legends of the eight great kings have not only pure nationality, but also regional sociality, because even the same nation cannot internalize the legend into the historical memory of the self-group outside the boundaries of the region. The people who live in the spreading area strengthen the identity consciousness of the ethnic group through this legend because of the need of daily knowledge and communication.
