本色與合作:1922年上海全國基督教大會(huì)研究

【摘要】:1922年上海全國基督教大會(huì)召開于5月2日至5月11日。本次大會(huì)以區(qū)別于晚清三次全國基督教大會(huì)的突出特點(diǎn),在中國基督教史上占據(jù)著重要地位。它不僅標(biāo)志著中國基督教事業(yè)的不斷發(fā)展,表現(xiàn)了華人在中國教會(huì)中逐漸增大的影響力,也預(yù)示著中國基督徒在本色化和合一方面的進(jìn)一步追求。本文意在從大會(huì)本身入手,著重關(guān)注大會(huì)召開過程中對布道、醫(yī)療、教育、文字、婦女等方面的演說與具體討論,追溯本色化理論首次在中國基督教界的提出,尋找合作與合一理念的蹤跡,并進(jìn)一步了解與認(rèn)識(shí)1922年大會(huì)的歷史地位與價(jià)值。整篇論文分為六個(gè)部分。第一章簡介1922年全國大會(huì)召開的背景和原因。此次大會(huì)是在內(nèi)外因素聯(lián)合推動(dòng)下舉辦的,其中外部推動(dòng)力包括五四新文化運(yùn)動(dòng)和非基運(yùn)動(dòng)的影響,而內(nèi)部因素包括基督教的集會(huì)傳統(tǒng)、20世紀(jì)以來中國基督教的巨大進(jìn)步和不足以及基督徒的自我覺醒。第二章介紹了大會(huì)籌備與召開的過程,與會(huì)人員的情況,以及大會(huì)對核心理念的提出與討論。第三章概述了作為大會(huì)重要成果的中華全國基督教協(xié)進(jìn)會(huì)。重點(diǎn)包括第一,中華續(xù)行委辦會(huì)的組建、組織方式及主要貢獻(xiàn);第二,大會(huì)就是否組建與如何組建協(xié)進(jìn)會(huì)進(jìn)行了討論。這一過程集中體現(xiàn)了本色與合作理念;第三,協(xié)進(jìn)會(huì)組建后的主要活動(dòng)與重要作用。第四章專論大會(huì)如何對傳統(tǒng)基督教事工進(jìn)行本色化改造,以及如何使基督教深入?yún)⑴c工業(yè)經(jīng)濟(jì)和社會(huì)道德改良的具體方案。這些詳細(xì)的計(jì)劃突出展現(xiàn)了中國基督徒對本色化的追求和對聯(lián)合之必要性的認(rèn)識(shí)。第五章突出了大會(huì)對培養(yǎng)與利用中國本土精英的建議。中國基督教事業(yè)發(fā)展緩慢,其中一個(gè)原因就是缺少中國教會(huì)領(lǐng)袖。因此大會(huì)詳細(xì)討論了中國領(lǐng)袖的現(xiàn)狀和未來培養(yǎng)的計(jì)劃,彰顯了本色與合作的理念。第六章總結(jié)了大會(huì)的歷史定位,并整理了時(shí)人和后人對大會(huì)的評價(jià)?傮w而論,本文緊緊圍繞大會(huì)的籌備與召開過程,既研究了大會(huì)的組織概況,又探索了大會(huì)對本色與合作核心理念地體現(xiàn)與討論。1922年上海全國基督教大會(huì)有效回應(yīng)了 20世紀(jì)20年代的時(shí)局,在延續(xù)前三次基督教大會(huì)的基礎(chǔ)上,首次直接提出了建立“中國教會(huì)”的本色化理念。這是20世紀(jì)20年代之前本色與合一實(shí)踐的總結(jié)與升華,同時(shí)也推動(dòng)了 20年代后本色化運(yùn)動(dòng)的開展,加速了基督教各宗派內(nèi)外地聯(lián)合?梢,此次大會(huì)在中國基督教史上具有不可忽略作用與難以取代的地位。
[Abstract]:The National Christian Congress in Shanghai, 1922, was held from May 2 to May 11. Distinguished from the three national Christian congresses in the late Qing Dynasty, the Congress occupies an important position in the history of Chinese Christianity. It not only symbolizes the continuous development of Chinese Christian cause, but also indicates the further pursuit of Chinese Christians in the aspect of identity and unity. The purpose of this paper is to focus on the speeches and specific discussions on sermons, medical treatment, education, writing, women and so on in the course of the Congress itself, and trace back to the first time that the theory of indigenization was put forward in the Christian circles of China. To find the trace of the idea of cooperation and unity, and further understand and understand the historical status and value of the 1922 Congress. The whole paper is divided into six parts. The first chapter introduces the background and reasons of the National Congress in 1922. The conference was held under the joint promotion of internal and external factors, among which the external impetus included the influence of the May 4th New Culture Movement and the Non-Foundation Movement. The internal factors include the Christian tradition of assembly and the great progress and deficiency of Chinese Christianity since the 20th century, as well as the self-awakening of Christians. The second chapter introduces the process of preparing and holding the Congress, the participants' situation, and the proposal and discussion of the core idea of the Congress. Chapter three summarizes the All-China Council of Churches as an important achievement of the Congress. The main points are as follows: first, the organization, organization and main contribution of the CCO; second, the discussion on whether to form and how to form the CCCC. This process embodies the essence and cooperation concept; third, the main activities and important role of the Association after its establishment. The fourth chapter is about how to transform the traditional Christian ministry and how to make Christianity participate in the industrial economy and social moral improvement. These detailed plans highlight the Chinese Christians' pursuit of indigenization and the need for union. The fifth chapter highlights the recommendations of the General Assembly on the cultivation and utilization of China's local elite. One reason for the slow growth of China's Christian cause is the lack of Chinese church leaders. Therefore, the meeting discussed in detail the present situation and future training plan of Chinese leaders, and demonstrated the essence and the concept of cooperation. The sixth chapter summarizes the historical position of the Congress, and collates the evaluation of the Congress. In general, this paper focuses on the preparation and holding of the Congress, and studies the organization of the Congress. The National Christian Congress of Shanghai in 1922 effectively responded to the current situation in the 1920s and continued the previous three Christian congresses. For the first time, the author put forward the idea of establishing the Chinese Church. This is the summary and sublimation of the practice of identity and unity before the 1920s. It also promoted the development of the post-1920s movement of identity and accelerated the combination of different Christian sects. It can be seen that the Congress in the history of Chinese Christianity can not be ignored and difficult to replace the status.
