【摘要】：作為現(xiàn)代佛教改革的領(lǐng)袖,太虛法師是一個(gè)宗教家,也是一個(gè)文學(xué)家。在修習(xí)佛學(xué)的同時(shí)對(duì)西方文化也多有涉獵,在從事舊體文學(xué)創(chuàng)作的同時(shí)與新文學(xué)家也多有交往,對(duì)外國(guó)文學(xué)也經(jīng)常關(guān)注,這些修習(xí)與文學(xué)的活動(dòng)為他建構(gòu)起了博通古今、融貫中西的學(xué)術(shù)素養(yǎng)和思想結(jié)構(gòu),從而使他為佛教文學(xué)的現(xiàn)代化豎立起了一面新的旗幟,也為佛教文學(xué)與現(xiàn)代新文化運(yùn)動(dòng)的結(jié)合提供了一個(gè)卓越的典范。
[Abstract]:As the leader of the reform of modern Buddhism, Master Taixu is a religious man and a litterateur. He also dabbles in Western culture while practicing Buddhism. While he was engaged in the creation of the old literature, he also had many contacts with the new writers, and also paid close attention to the foreign literature. These activities of studying and literature have built up the academic literacy and ideological structure that permeate the Chinese and the western countries for his understanding of the past and the present. Thus he erected a new banner for the modernization of Buddhist literature and provided an outstanding model for the combination of Buddhist literature and modern new culture movement.
