【摘要】：本文原載于《亞洲研究評(píng)論》(Asian Studies Review)第5卷第2期第296—298頁。原文題目為:Shimada Kenji:Pioneer of Chinese Revolution:Zhang Binglin and Confucianism。島田虔次《中國(guó)革命的先驅(qū):章炳麟和儒學(xué)》由喬舒亞·福格爾(Joshua A.Fogel)翻譯為英文,由斯坦福大學(xué)出版社于1990年出版。在本書評(píng)中,汪榮祖先生對(duì)島田書中的兩篇論文進(jìn)行了嚴(yán)厲的批評(píng),并指出了很多事實(shí)性錯(cuò)誤和翻譯問題等,認(rèn)為該書存在多方面的不足,令人失望。本譯文經(jīng)汪榮祖先生審閱并潤(rùn)色。
[Abstract]:This article is published in Asian Studies Review, vol. 5, No. 2, pp. 296-298. The original title is: Shimada Kenji: Pioneer of Chinese Revolution: Zhang Binglin and fucianism. Shimada, "the Pioneers of the Chinese Revolution: Zhang Binglin and Confucianism." translated into English by Joshua A. Fogel. published by Stanford University Press in 1990. In the book review, Wang Rongzu severely criticized the two papers in the book, pointed out a lot of factual errors and translation problems, and considered that there are many shortcomings in the book, which is disappointing. This translation has been examined and polished by Mr. Wang Rongzu.
