【摘要】：正早在馬可·波羅時代,以外國人的眼光來考察中國的歷史變遷已成為中西方交流的第一條線索。在歐洲,古希臘時期以降,"觀看"機(jī)制一直被視為獲取知識的一種可靠方式,眼睛是最可靠的感官,視覺是認(rèn)識世界最主要的方式,"看"等同于"知"。無論是美好神秘的烏托邦建構(gòu),還是愚昧無知的落后色彩,中國形象一直是西方文明的一面"他者"之鏡,東方主義思想正是透過來華觀察者的"帝國之眼"得以完美體現(xiàn)。英國當(dāng)代漢學(xué)家雷蒙·道森(Raymond Dawson)在其代表作《中國變色龍——對于歐洲中國文明觀的分析》(中華書局2006年版)中,系統(tǒng)總結(jié)了幾
[Abstract]:In the era of Ma Ke Polo, looking at the historical changes in China from the perspective of foreigners has become the first clue for the exchanges between China and the West. Orientalism is perfectly embodied through the eyes of the Empire by observers in China.
