文化差異對中國在東盟直接投資的影響研究
[Abstract]:2016 marks the 25th anniversary of the establishment of dialogue between China and ASEAN. Judging from the situation of China's foreign direct investment in the past 10 years, more and more Chinese enterprises are focusing on the hot land of ASEAN, and the amount of investment is expanding year by year and growing rapidly. Among the influence factors of foreign direct investment, cultural differences play a more and more important role. Recognizing and distinguishing cultural differences and implementing effective coping strategies are the only way for every Chinese enterprise to carry out direct investment in ASEAN. Therefore, this paper focuses on the impact of cultural differences on China's direct investment in ASEAN, focusing on the direction of influence, the degree of influence and the solution to eliminate cultural misunderstanding or conflict. Based on the review of relevant theories and literatures, this paper first analyzes the current situation and characteristics of China's direct investment in ASEAN, and explains the problems and risks in the process of investment. Secondly, from the perspective of Hofstede's cultural dimension theory and business culture, this paper compares and analyzes the cultural differences between China and ASEAN, and finds that there are still obvious cultural differences between China and ASEAN countries. Thirdly, by observing the spatial distribution of cultural distance and direct investment, the correlation between them and the dynamic evolution of investment are analyzed. Then, using the extended gravity model, the data of China's direct investment in ASEAN from 2003 to 2015 are selected as the sample, and the stock of China's direct investment in ASEAN is set as the explained variable. With three indicators to quantify the cultural differences between China and ASEAN, using the panel regression method, the impact of cultural differences on China's direct investment in ASEAN is analyzed in depth. The results show that the cultural differences have an obvious hindrance to China's direct investment in ASEAN, and Chinese enterprises tend to invest in ASEAN countries with small cultural differences. Then, based on the results of empirical analysis, this paper discusses the specific strategies for Chinese enterprises to carry out cross-cultural investment management in ASEAN with the case study of New Hope Group and Guangxi Guohong Group. Finally, from the perspective of optimizing cultural differences, the paper puts forward policies and suggestions to promote China's direct investment in ASEAN.
